Marilyn Monroe’s Marijuana Video Up For Sale

A home movie showing Marilyn Monroe smoking what appears to be marijuana is set to go on sale.

The never-before-seen silent film, recorded by Monroe's pal at a party in New Jersey in the late 1950s, was tracked down by collector Keya Morgan, who paid $275,000 for the footage.

The Some Like it Hot star is shown puffing on the joint, laughing and drinking wine.

The woman who shot the four-minute clip has asked to remain anonymous, only revealing her first name as Gretchen, but has confirmed the cigarette contained marijuana, explaining, "I got (the pot). It was mine. It was just passed around. It was not a party. It was just a get-together. You know, come over and hang out."

Morgan plans to put the film on internet auction website eBay later this week.

He says, "This is the late '50s so she is already very famous, but this is a personal side of her we've never seen before. People have never seen her in such a relaxed pose."

Marilyn Monroe’s Syringe Use Got Her Kicked Out

Frank Sinatra could have saved Marilyn Monroe's life - but he threw her out of his home less than two weeks (weekend of July 28th) before she died amid fears she'd pass away in his company, according to a new biography. The Rat Pack star enjoyed an on/off romance with the Some Like It Hot actress until she died from an overdose of barbiturates in 1962. Leading up to the tragedy, Monroe suffered a number of personal problems and illness - but her passing could have been prevented if Sinatra had intervened after she collapsed at his Cal-Neva Lodge resort in Nevada days before her death. The Hollywood icon invited Monroe to stay with him at the venue, along with actor Peter Lawford and his wife Pat. But the holiday turned sour when the fragile-looking actress started taking vitamin shots in front of the other guests, only to later breakdown in her room.

Instead of helping out, Sinatra ordered Monroe to be removed from his estate, according to new book, The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe.

A security guard for Sinatra's Cal-Neva Lodge tells author J. Randy Taraborrelli, "She opened her purse and pulled out those syringes. I was standing right there with Mr Sinatra and Pat Lawford. Marilyn was very casual about it. She was looking for something else and just pulled them out and put them on the table... Then - and I had never seen anything like this before - she put a small hole at the end of the capsule, and swallowed it. 'Gets into your bloodstream faster that way,' she said."

Valet George Jacobs adds, "Frank Sinatra didn't know what to think about any of it. He was upset, though. He loved Marilyn, yes. But for her to maybe die at Cal-Neva while he was there? That would have been terrible. So he said: 'Get her out of here and get her out of here now.' And that was it. We had to do what he said. I mean, the woman was sick. But as compassionate as Sinatra was, he had a line and she crossed it."

This picture of Marilyn Monroe and pianist Buddy Greco were taken at the Cal-Neva Resort in Nevada in the summer of 1962, just five days before her death from a barbiturates overdose on August 5. They were part of a set of 36 photos taken of Monroe and others at the resort that summer. But only six remain - the other 30 were stored in a safe-deposit box at the World Trade Center and were destroyed in the 9/11 attacks.

Does she haunt the Cal-Neva Ranch to this day?

Recently her Some Like Hot co-star Tony Curtis opened up about Marilyn's pregnancy/abortion.Curtis is set to shock fans with a new book insisting she was carrying his child following their steamy affair while filming Some Like It Hot. In his new memoir The Making of 'Some Like It Hot', the actor describes his liasons with the blond bombshell in explicit detail, and even claims the baby she conceived during their 1958 affair was his. Curtis goes on to recall the day the star announced her pregnancy in October 1958 during a heated exchange with her playwright husband Arthur Miller, who refused to believe the baby was Curtis' child. And although Curtis' then-wife Janet Leigh was also pregnant with their second daughter, Jamie Lee, the 84 year old insists Monroe was intent on mothering the child she eventually miscarried.

The actor also reveals their first tryst actually came in 1950, when Monroe was first launching her career - and he insists he'll never forget their romps.

He writes, "When I was in bed with Marilyn, I was never sure, before, during or after, where her mind was. She was an actress. She could play a part. She could give the part what she thought a man wanted. I never asked for more. What I experienced with her was unforgettable.”

Curtis' book is set for release on September 28, 2009.

The Marilyn Monroe Sex Tape: Just a Publicity Stunt

Reports of a sex tape featuring Marilyn Monroe are part of an elaborate publicity stunt, it has been claimed.

It was revealed earlier this month a New York businessman had purchased exclusive footage of the late actress performing oral sex on an unidentified man for $1.5million, but was planning to “keep it locked up”.

However, Keya Morgan, the memorabilia collector who allegedly stumbled across the footage while researching his documentary on the ‘Some Like It Hot’ actress, reportedly has a history of elaborating the truth to promote his own work.

In an article for US gossip website defamer.com, Monroe experts claim: “What Keya Morgan is promoting equates to questionable stories generated simply to sell another book or push another cheesy documentary.

At the time of our conversation with him, we immediately discerned that he was one of them only out to exploit Marilyn Monroe and to come up with something new to fuel the rumor mill of her life.

“Keya Morgan's time in the spotlight for this recent spin is nothing more than an opportunity for him to do just that - soak up some extra time in the limelight with his invented story about a fake flick, at the expense of the legacy of Marilyn Monroe.”

The writers also allege Morgan claims he has dated Mariah Carey and Renee Zellweger.

They added: “In general Mr. Morgan was a name dropper, especially when it came to those notorious for supporting the conspiracy theories involved with the story of Marilyn Monroe. However, he wove into our conversation his claim that he dated Mariah Carey and Renee Zellweger.”

The article, entitled ‘Debunking the Marilyn Monroe sex tape hoax’, was written by Mark Bellinghaus, a leading Marilyn Monroe expert, Ernest W. Cunningham, the author of 'The Ultimate Marilyn' and Jennifer J. Dickinson, a journalist based in New Jersey.
