Kate Moss and Pete Doherty will marry in a private London ceremony.
The supermodel and the Babyshambles frontman are reportedly planning to tie
the knot at Marylebone Register Office either at Christmas or on January 16,
which is Kate's birthday.
The lovers are said to have chosen the venue because of its rich musical
history.
A host of celebrities - including Paul and Linda McCartney - have taken
their vows in the old town hall.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They considered a wedding in
Ibiza or the Caribbean but chose Marylebone because it is in London, it is
cool and they will be following in the footsteps of their idols."
The couple - who have been dating on and off since January last year - are
said to be planning an intimate ceremony before heading off to Barbados for
the honeymoon.
The source added: "They want an intimate ceremony for their friends and
family. They're not the sort to flog the picture rights to a glossy
magazine."
Kate and Pete fuelled engagement rumours at the weekend after they were seen
looking at rings during a romantic trip to Florence.
Kate, 32, made her best efforts to hide a ring she was wearing when she
arrived in Heathrow airport on Sunday (10.22.06) by covering it up with her
sleeve.
Meanwhile, Pete's uncle Phil Michels says the catwalk queen is pregnant with
his nephew's baby.
He told said: "I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has
confirmed that Kate is pregnant. Pete told me they want a baby to cement

Kate Moss and Pete Doherty officially announced their engagement at a masked
ball on Tuesday night (10.24.06).
Kate, 32, told partygoers: "We are engaged." And Pete added: "Yes we are
getting married - if she'll have me."
The supermodel looked stunning in a gold dress given to her by best friend -
designer Stella McCartney - as an engagement present. She wore an antique
diamond ring on her wedding finger which she was happy to show off to guests
and an ornate gold mask over one eye.
A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Kate looked amazing as
usual but even Pete looked really well-dressed for once.
"They had their arms round each other all night and made a very handsome
couple.
"As they made their way around the room you could hear Kate saying 'Would
you like to see my ring?' again and again."
The couple joined in the karaoke at the ball, serenading each other with
'Come Together' by The Beatles and 'Close To You' by The Carpenters.
Doherty wore a black diamante mask over his eyes - which could have been to
conceal injuries he sustained the night before (23.10.06) during a brawl
with a photographer in Rome.
A host of stars attended the glamorous Moet and Chandon ball in London,
including Scarlett Johansson, Jerry Hall, Elizabeth Jagger, Gisele Bundchen
and Erin O'Connor.
Model Lizzie Jagger attended the event in a Harlequin costume and Hollywood
beauty Scarlett Johansson looked stunning in a black lace mask and
fifties-style dress with a see-through back.

She agreed to marry the rocker after he checked into The Priory rehab centre to battle his addictions to crack cocaine and heroin. Since leaving rehab Pete has managed to stay clean.

Kate Moss joined lover Pete Doherty onstage for a duet on Monday (09.25.06).
The supermodel delighted the sell-out crowd by taking to the stage at Pete's
first show since he checked out of rehab for drug addiction.
Kate, sporting a black sweater mini-dress, and Pete belted out the track 'La
Belle et La Bete' - which translates as 'Beauty and The Beast'.
One fan said: "It was a fantastic moment. Everyone went wild. Kate looked
sensational - and she sounded great."
Pete, 27, had only checked out of London's The Priory clinic for cocaine and
heroin addiction earlier that day. The Babyshambles frontman was seen
sipping water while Kate enjoyed a bottle of lager.
Kate, who exited the stage after one song to take photographs of the band,
left the crowd screaming for more at Carlow's Music Factory, Ireland.
The 32-year-old model also ignored Ireland's strict smoking ban in public

Kate Moss stunned patients at a rehab clinic by romping with boyfriend Pete Doherty in the garden, it has been claimed.
The catwalk beauty was visiting her junkie lover The Priory, in London, over
the weekend when the pair became unable to control their lust for each
another and decided to get frisky in full view of the other day visitors.
A source inside the clinic - where Pete is trying to kick his addictions to
heroin and crack cocaine - told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It happened
between half six and seven o'clock on Sunday evening (09.17.06).
"There were a group of people attending a self-help group for the day.
Because it was pleasant weather, their leader suggested they move things
outside. But during their session they noticed a couple getting rather
fruity on a nearby bench. They were kissing and groping each other. Hands
were going up clothing and there was lots of groaning.
"They were practically having full-blown sex."
The horny couple only stopped their sexual shenanigans when they noticed
they had been caught out.
The source added: "People realised it was Moss and Doherty - her skinny blue
jeans were the giveaway. But a second later they noticed they were being
watched."

Kate Moss is reportedly planning to marry Pete Doherty after he bought her adiamond engagement ring.
The couple were seen kissing on Friday (08.11.06) at the recording of
British music TV show 'Transmission' and Kate was wearing a huge vintage
diamond ring on her engagement finger.
Friends of the supermodel have revealed the ring was a present given to her
by junkie rocker Doherty last week.
They also said that when Kate attended Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie'
s wedding two weeks ago she told them: "It's going to be me next."

the home of Kate's actress friend Davinia Taylor.

cure."
Doherty recently attended a rehab clinic in Lisbon, Portugal, to try to kick
his crack and heroin addiction again.
On entering the clinic the Babyshambles singer pledged he would marry Kate
once he was clean.
The couple first got together at Kate's 31st birthday in January last year,
but split a few months later after the model was photographed snorting
cocaine.
This week Kate plans to fly to Ibiza with Doherty, where Babyshambles will
perform at the annual Ibiza Rocks event.
It is rumoured that the model's friend Jade Jagger plans to throw an
engagement party for them on the idyllic island.
