Gene Simmons has ‘boy crush’ on Clooney
Gene Simmons has a "boy crush" on George Clooney.
The KISS bass player admitted he finds the hunky actor attractive at the Carousel of Hope gala on Saturday n Beverly Hills, California, at which George was the guest of honor for his philanthropic work.
Gene told ET online.com: "What do you girls say when you like another girl, but you're straight?"
When told he was referring to a "girl crush," he added, "George could be my 'boy crush'," as he raised his eyebrows and tilted his sunglasses.
Gene's wife, Shannon Tweed, was also very complimentary about George, praising his giving nature.
She added: "You can't even fault anything about George. As much as you wanna criticize movie stars for what they make and do, he gives."
George also appeared at the event - which raised $2.5 million to benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes - and joined singer Neil Diamond on stage to sing his classic track 'Sweet Caroline'.
In his speech, George promised to help end President Omar al-Bashir's tight control over Sudan, one of the things he was helping finance to achieve this is a satellite which focuses on the country.
Other guests appearing at the event included 'Desperate Housewives' actress Nicollette Sheridan and two-time 'Dancing with the Stars' winner Julianne Hough.
2012’s Novelty For George Clooney
WOW! Stacy Keibler has moved in with George Clooney.
While the former wrestler spent most of the summer with her boyfriend at his home in Lake Como, Italy, she has also moved in to his Los Angeles bachelor pad, leading friends to believe their relationship has gotten very serious.
A source told Life & Style magazine: "She's 100 per cent moved in with him, she spends her summers at Lake Como in Italy and all her stuff is at his place in Los Angeles.
"While she maintains a small rent controlled apartment in West Hollywood, she uses it as a storage space for mementos and personal items. All her clothes are at George's and she never goes home."
George, 51, reportedly believes the 32-year-old blonde is the perfect woman for him because she isn't clingy like his past girlfriends.
The insider added: "Stacy is his dream woman. She doesn't call to check in. He calls her more than she calls him."
Clooney Arrested!
George Clooney was today taken away in handcuffs after being arrested at a protest outside the Sudanese Embassy in Washington. The actor, his father Nick and a number of other protesters had been given three verbal warnings by police not to cross a police line outside the embassy before being taken into custody. They had accused Sudan's president, Omar al-Bashir, of provoking a humanitarian crisis and blocking food and aid from entering the Nuba Mountains in the county's border region with South Sudan.
