Tom Cruise Calls EPA Liars

Tom Cruise has branded the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) liars for
saying the air was clean after 9/11.

The 'Mission Impossible' star has revealed how, as a Scientologist, he
recognised there was a problem and provided rescue workers in the aftermath
of the New York terrorist attack with detoxification therapy based upon the
works of Scientologist founder L. Ron Hubbard.

In a new clip from his leaked Scientology promotional video, Tom said: "The
EPA came out and said the air was clean. Of course, as a Scientologist you
go, that's a lie. Outright lie. Liar. Fine.

"Finally you say, dammit, just go there and do it. Put it there, let's go,
here's the money, let's go. Let's just get one person treated. I can't sleep
another night.

"We have tools that we can apply to ourselves and apply to others. You're
going to get improvements. Period."

The 45-year-old star claims Scientologists "are the authorities" and need no
permission to take action.

He said: "A Scientologist is somebody who can look at the world and really
see it for what it is. And not just see it but be able to go 'pow' and
actually do something about it. And be somebody who is not asking permission
to do that. Why ask permission? We are the authorities."

Tom, wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri have been spending a lot of time in
New York this week with actor Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica.

In December, Jerry revealed: "I did some Scientology courses about 30 years
ago. I didn't do very much. I don't know that much, I just did a little but
I liked it."

But a representative for the 'Bee Movie' star said: "He is not studying
Scientology in any way at this time. He did attend a course 30 years ago
that he found interesting but he is Jewish and not changing his religion or
faith in any direction.

"Jerry and Tom Cruise both have homes in Telluride, Colorado, which is their
connection."

Magical Suri is A Human Encyclopedia

Katie Holmes says her daughter Suri is like an "encyclopedia".

The 29-year-old actress insists she is learning so much from "magical"
20-month-old Suri - her first child with husband Tom Cruise - it is like
absorbing an entire information book every day.

She said: "You learn more and more daily and then when you have a child, it
feels like you're reading an encyclopedia a day.

"You're always behind because children grow so fast and they're so magical.
She's so magical so things are good."

Katie - who stars alongside Queen Latifah in new comedy heist movie 'Mad
Money' - claims Suri is already making her own wardrobe choices.

She added: "She's very strong and bright and picks out some of her own
clothes."

The former 'Dawson's Creek' actress - who got engaged to Tom in June 2005
after dating him for just two months, and married him in Italy in November
2006 - never saw her relationship with the 'Top Gun' actor as a "whirlwind"
romance.

Katie said: "Well, I never thought that it was a whirlwind. It was a lot of
attention all at once and I had never had that attention. But I always knew
to expect that when I met Tom and it was like, 'Okay, when? Sure. Yeah.
Right on. Lets do it.' So I've always felt very comfortable and happy with
everything."

During an appearance on BET's '106 & Park,' Katie Holmes presents Queen Latifah with the 2007 Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television, which she won for her performance in 'Life Support' in NYC (01/16/08).

Tom Cruise on Scientology

Some select quotes from the "Tom Cruise on Scientology Video" that keeps getting deleted via (Gawker + NY Post + Dlisted)

image
(Video)

TC on being a Scientologist:

"I think it’s a privilege to call yourself a Scientologist, and it’s something that you have to earn because a Scientologist does... has the ability to create new and better realities and improve conditions. Being a Scientologist, you look at someone and know absolutely that you can help them.

"Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident... you know you have to do something about it because you know you’re the only one that can really help.

"But that’s what drives me... I know that we have an opportunity to really help... effectively change people’s lives and I am dedicated to that. I am absolutely, uncompromisingly dedicated to that.

"We are the authorities on getting people off drugs, we are the authorities on the mind, we are the authorities on improving conditions... we can rehabilitate criminals.

Scientologists like to learn:

"Now is the time. Being a Scientologist, people are turning to you, so you better know it. You better know it. And if you don't, go learn it. But don't pretend you know it -- or whatever -- we're here to help.

Scientologists have different vision:

"If you're a scientologist, you see things they way they are, in all its glory, in all its complexity."

Scientologists don't go on vacation:

"I'd like to go on vacation and just romp and play and do that. That's what I want it to be ... but I can't. Because I know. I know. So I have to do something about it. ... You can sit here and wish it was different. You know I have to do something, don't I? Because I can't live with myself if I don't."

Scientologists can't half-ass things:

"You're either contributing everything you can, or you're not. Because I'm carrying my load. And as much as I'm carrying, I still feel like I gotta do more."

"I do what I can and I do it the way I do everything [laughs maniacally]. There's nothing part of the way for me [slaps knee]. It's just whoooo [moves hand upward in rocket motion]."

Scientologists are easily identifiable:

"You can see the look in their eyes, you know the ones who are doing it. And you know the spectators, the ones who are going, 'It's easy for you' ... I've cancelled that in my area of my mind [laughs maniacally]. So it's our responsibility to educate, create the new reality. We have that responsibility to say, 'Hey, this is how it should be done.'"

Scientologists like it rough:

"I have to tell you something, it's rough and tumble and it's wild and wooly and it's a blast. It's a blast. It really is -- fun. Because damnit, there's nothing better than going out there and fighting the fight and then you see things are better [cheeks flushed]."

Tom Cruise Can’t Go Broke

Tom Cruise is in danger of going broke if he does not control his (and his wife's) wild spending, it has been claimed.

The 'Top Gun' star - whose estimated fortune is $250 million -enjoys splashing his cash so much sources close to the actor fear he could squander it all.

A source said: "Tom is really into money. He has no problem spending it. It makes him feel powerful. He loves to brag about his Porsches, his homes, his planes and his motorcycles.

"When Tom takes Katie out, he has his security people hand $100 bills to anyone who helps them, even someone who opens a door! He's a big giver."

Nicole Kidman’s Kids Don’t Call Her Mommy

image

Nicole Kidman's children refuse to call her mom.

The Oscar-winning actress says Isabella, 14, and 12-year-old Connor - her two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise - are reluctant to use the traditional parental moniker and instead call her Nicole, much to her annoyance.

She told UK TV show 'GMTV': "My kids don't call me mommy, they don't even call me mom. They call me Nicole, which I hate and tell them off for it."

The 'Golden Compass' star recently revealed she is unhappy Isabella and Connor are being raised as Scientologists in Los Angeles.

Catholic Nicole lives in Nashville with her second husband Keith Urban, while her children live with Scientologist Tom and his new wife Katie Holmes.

She said: "Yes, they're being raised as Scientologists. I don't want to go there.

"My daughter and son, their life is molded by the way I live. If I wasn't willing to take on that responsibility, I shouldn't have adopted them. Then it can be argued that I should never have divorced, and that's true, too, but sometimes you don't have a decision in that. People fall out of love, they do.

"When children are teenagers, they have a say in where they want to be. Los Angeles is a big draw, and I'm looking to get a place there so we can share more."
