Kanye West Did Karate For Pennies
Kanye West used to perform karate on the streets for cash.The US rapper lived in China as a child and said he used to busk for pocket money.
West claimed he often put on impromptu martial arts displays in the street for extra money and loved every minute of it.
He revealed: “When I was little, my mom took a job over in China, and I used to do karate demonstrations for pennies.
“To be honest it was pretty entertaining for me, and I used to spend what I earned on ice-cream.”
Although West enjoyed performing the unusual money spinner, the hip-hop star claims his mother used to reprimand him for taking cash of people less fortunate than himself.
He added to Britain’s NME magazine: “My mother was like, ‘How can you ask for money from these poor Chinese people?’ I guess I was a hustler in fifth grade, entertaining people.”

She admitted: “I’ve experimented with drugs.
“I think there’s a point in everybody’s life where they experiment because they’re intrigued – but not now.
She added to Britain’s Night & Day:
“I’m not a drug person. I just never cared.
I have no interest in hard drugs. I’m totally turned off by that.”
Meanwhile, Kate has revealed the secret to a happy marriage is putting your man first.
The screen beauty – who is married to singer Chris Robinson – admitted it’s easy to forget men like to feel they’re in charge in a relationship.
She revealed: “I feel that when you’re a working woman, and you work really hard, you can lose sight of the fact that men need to feel that they wear the trousers.
“I believe it’s important to make them feel they’re cared for.”
