Talan Torriero Used Dad’s Credit Card For Ring

Kimberly Stewart's ex fiancé, reality TV star Talan Torriero, reportedly
bought her a $75,000 engagement ring - on his dad's credit card.

The 19-year-old actor had stunned pals by presenting Kimberly, the
26-year-old daughter of rocker Rod Stewart, with the five-carat sparkler
after the pair had dated for just two weeks.

The pair split up 11 days later saying it was "too soon" to make such a
serious commitment.

Torriero, who has had few jobs since appearing on MTV high school reality
show 'Laguna Beach' last year, was overheard telling pals at a modelling
shoot how he had used his father's credit card to pay for the ring.

According to America's New York Post newspaper, he was then heard adding: "I
should be able to get a full refund."

After the pair split last month, Kimberly's spokesperson Eliot Mintz
revealed: "It is better to have a brief engagement than a short marriage.
The couple continue to share their time together and remain open to whatever
the future may hold.

"They began dating a relatively short period of time ago. It would be in the
category of weeks as opposed to months."

Jessica Simpson reportedly dumped husband Nick Lachey in an email.

The blonde star allegedly typed her singer husband a note to tell him she
was going public over their split.

The handsome star didn't know what the actress was planning until the
message appeared on his mobile phone.

A source is quoted in America's Us Weekly magazine as saying: "She had had
enough of the marriage and the fighting. She just wanted it to be over."

Another source told the magazine 32-year-old Nick was distraught.

The insider claimed: "He feels like he was sucker-punched. He wasn't even
expecting it.

"He was devastated."

The 'Newlyweds' stars later released a joint statement confirming they were
splitting after three years of marriage.

It said: "After three years of marriage, and careful thought and
consideration, we have decided to part ways

"This is the mutual decision of two people with an enormous amount of
respect and admiration for each other. We hope that you respect our privacy
during this difficult time."

The break up followed months of rumours the couple's romance was on the
rocks.

Jennifer Garner Gives Birth To Baby Girl

Us Weekly has learned exclusively that Jennifer Garner , 33, has given birth to a baby daughter.

Sources confirm to Us that Garner, whose due date was December 8, had her labor induced at an L.A. hospital. The actress is married to Ben Affleck, 33.

''They induced last night,'' a friend of the couple tells Us. ''Ben was with her the entire time.'' Last night, when asked by Us when Garner would be giving birth, Garner's Alias co-star Joel Grey said ''tonight.''

Another one of Garner's co-stars and close friends, Victor Garber, (who officiated the pair's intimate sunset wedding ceremony on the isle of Turks and Caicos on June 29), told Us last night, ''My gift will be that I will be a doting uncle.''

The pair were planning on naming the baby girl Violet. When Garner had her October 23 baby shower, guests made sure to give the soon-to-be parents many purple gifts. When contacted by Us, a rep for Garner wouldn't confirm nor deny news of the birth. A rep for Affleck could not be reached.
