Jennifer Garner's hit show, 'Alias' has been axed following a drop in
ratings.
The espionage drama - which ran for five seasons - will air its last episode
in May next year.
Studio heads say the cult series, which ran for five seasons, will go out
with a bang and won't "wind down as it comes to an end".
ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson said in a statement: "It's
going to rev up, and we're going to make it the event it deserves to be."
Earlier this year, it was revealed stunning Jennifer Garner had to stop
wearing her trademark slinky outfits in the show - after her pregnancy bump
got too big.
The sexy actress carried on playing butt-kicking spy Sydney Bristow after
discovering she was expecting a baby with husband Ben Affleck, but show
bosses wrote the real-life pregnancy into the series.
An 'Alias' source revealed: "No more short skirts or high boots. She's just
too big!"
