Britney Spears has reportedly been missing rehearsals for her world tour
because she is embarrassed by her dancing ability.
The ‘Womanizer’ singer, who is soon due to go on her first arena run in five
years, has sparked concern among tour organizers with her repeated no shows.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “
She missed some early dance practices and
wasn’t dedicated about turning up at meetings.”
Britney, 27, is said to be particularly reluctant to strut her stuff in
front of choreographer Wade Robson – who she has worked with since 1999 - as
she is embarrassed at how hard she now finds dancing.
The source added: “
She didn’t want him to see that she’s not as good as she
used to be.”
Meanwhile, Britney’s father Jamie and her attorney Andrew Wallet have
officially been given permanent control of her finances.
The conservatorship over the pop star legally began on January 5, according
to court papers filed at Los Angeles Superior Court.
Jamie is also sole conservator of his daughter’s personal matters.
The papers state Britney is “
substantially unable to manage her financial
resources or to resist fraud or undue influence” and is “
unable properly to
provide for his or her personal needs for physical health, food, clothing,
or shelter”.
They also state Jamie has “the power to restrict and limit visitors by any
means”.
Jamie was initially granted a permanent conservatorship over Britney in
October, and a court-appointed attorney for the singer confirmed she had no
objections to the arrangement.
Jamie was put in control of his daughter’s life last year following her
public breakdown.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is “having a tough time” coping with her relationship
breakdown.
The 29-year-old ‘Ghost Whisperer’ star – who split with fiance Ross McCall
over Christmas – is back on the set of her hit show, but seems “quiet” and
“sad”.
A source told People magazine: “
She is usually very bubbly, but she is more
quiet and seems sad. She usually hangs out with the crew between takes, but
now she is only hanging out with her bodyguard.”
But no matter how upset she was, friends say Jennifer would never consider
taking time off work.
The source said: “
She is always so professional. She would never even think
to miss a day of work because of personal problems.”
Jennifer and the 32-year-old ‘Band of Brothers’ actor got engaged in
November 2007 after two years together. Friends and family were shocked when
they announced their relationship was over.
Another source said: “
They're both really sad about this. Even their friends
are surprised, they seemed really happy.”

Lily Allen says she took cocaine because she “felt like a lonely child”.
‘The Fear’ singer doesn’t use the hard drug anymore, but doesn’t frown upon
those who chose to, insisting there is too much public furore surrounding
the class A substance.
Lily, 24, said: “
I felt like a lonely child when everyone else was doing it
and I wasn’t. That’s why I took cocaine, when I didn’t even like it.
“
I know lots of people who take cocaine three nights a week and get up and
go to work. But we never hear that side of the story. I wish people wouldn’t
sensationalize it.”
The UK singer also hit out at Christianity, saying her religious schooling
went against what was happening in her life.
Lily – who was expelled from several of the thirteen schools she attended -
added to Word magazine: “
I don’t like Christianity much. I was brought up in
a Catholic school and they told me gays, adultery and drugs were bad.
“
All my mum’s friends were gay, my dad was having affairs and there were
drugs in the house when I was a kid, so it was a bit cruel.”

Hilary Duff is desperate for her mother to date Jon Voight.
The singer-and-actress is keen to find newly-single Susan a partner and thinks Angelina Jolie’s father would be the perfect date.
A source told National Enquirer magazine: “
Hilary is looking into Jon’s dating status to see if he’s available. She thinks the world of her mom and wants her to meet a nice guy.”
Hilary is supporting her mother through her acrimonious divorce from her estranged father Robert, and is adamant Susan should start dating again to get over her heartache.
Hilary, 21, even took Susan to the opening of the exclusive SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills recently, where she introduced her to a number of men.
Hilary was recently forced to announce she does not perform lap dances after it was reported she had been seductively gyrating for her ice hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie in a busy nightclub.
She said: "
I mean, little ol' me? It's shocking. People love to believe it - but it's not true. And they're so descriptive about these lap dances. I don't even know how to do a lap dance!"
