Cameron Diaz's new film
The Box has been voted one of the worst films of all time by moviegoers - just days after its U.S. release. The thriller, based on
Richard Matheson's 1970 short story
Button, Button, has been panned by film buffs in America, with officials at CinemaScore, who monitor fan reaction to movies, giving the flop an F rating - the lowest score possible.
Company boss
Ed Mintz says, "
People really thought this was a stinker."
Mintz rates the film as the fourth least popular this decade, behind 2006 horror
Bug,
Wolf Creek in 2005 and
Darkness, which came out in 2002.

TVGuide.com:
Your Playboy issue is coming out. Did you have any concerns about doing it while you were on Dancing since it's known as a family show?
Krupa: I did the shoot before I knew I was on the show. When I found out it was [going to be the] December issue, I was a little concerned, but
the photos are so artistic and it's part of my background. I did Playboy before and for the people who support me and follow my career and see me on the show, I would hope it wouldn't change their views on me because it doesn't change who I am as a person. I also think
Playboy helps build your name, just like how the show helps you build your name. They open doors. I'm a huge animal activist and I try to do good with whatever opportunities I have. ... I owe a lot of my success to Playboy, so why go against it?
I'm very proud of it.
TVGuide.com:
You've said you think it's empowering to women.
Krupa:
Yeah, I think it's definitely empowering to women. Women should never feel like they can't do something. In a way, it's a man's world. Men get paid more than women for the same type of work, so this is empowering. It's saying, "You're a woman, be strong. Don't hold back, don't be scared. Do whatever you want to do. If you have something to say, say it." I think we should show women can rule.

Brad Pitt and
Angelina Jolie have turned jewelery designers to launch a collection of accessories benefiting the actress' children's charity. The Hollywood couple has teamed up with exclusive British jewelers Asprey for a selection of high-end gold and silver pieces inspired by serpents as part of
The Protector line. The range includes diamond-studded pendants and rings, baby spoons and picture frames, all featuring the reptile, and are priced from $525. According to
WWD.com, Jolie chose the snake theme after being gifted a ring in the shape of a snake while she was pregnant with the couple's first biological daughter, Shiloh, in 2006. Proceeds from the Protector range, which is being sold at Asprey stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, Toyko, Japan and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, will be donated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, an organization the Tomb Raider star co-founded in 2006.
In a statement about the charity, the stars say, "
These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place - to just be children.
"
Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school."

A sleepy
Mariah Carey leans her head on her husband
Nick Cannon after leaving the Fountain Studios in London, England early on Monday (Nov 16).
Wenn.com
Meanwhile
Mariah has blamed music industry bosses for failing to spot the internet download trend - accusing record labels of letting their artists down by allowing illegal file-sharing to become commonplace. Carey is adamant label bosses should have realized the potential of the internet a long time before illicit song swapping became prevalent, and she's furious because the practice means many musicians lose out on precious royalty money. The singer insists that although record labels are slowly beginning to grasp the potential of the internet, they will never be able to repair the damage done by illegal downloads, because many consumers now feel entitled to get their music for free.
She says, "
Frickin' idiots! A lot of big, powerful music industry executives made a giant mistake and now we're all paying the price. They gave the music business away on the internet. If they had just sat back and said, 'Maybe let's figure this internet thing out, it could be something cool,' we could have found a way to distribute music online on our own terms, not somebody else's.
"
Prince had already shown them the way. He was so far ahead of the curve, putting his records out on the web.
Everyone else was stupid."

Amy Winehouse was admitted to hospital on Sunday night (Nov 15) after suffering an adverse reaction to medication for a cold, according to U.K. reports. Amy is currently taking prescription drugs to help her overcome her battle with substance abuse. She began to feel unwell last week and bought cold remedies from a pharmacy - but the mix of medications caused Winehouse to suffer even more and she was admitted to The London Clinic in the U.K. capital, according to Britain's
Daily Mirror.
A source tells the publication, "
Amy took over-the-counter stuff for a cold but it didn't agree with medication she takes for her on-going recovery. She felt rubbish when she woke on Sunday morning.
"
A doctor came to her house and advised her to go to the hospital to make sure she was all right. She was due to stay the night."
