HOLLYWOOD - Mischa Barton is reportedly being lined up for a role in TV sensation Desperate Housewives.
After quitting The O.C.—the teen show that made her famous—the British-born star is rumored to be discussing a new role with Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry.
Cherry’s spokesperson says, “He’s interviewing and auditioning all the time.
“I’m sure Mischa would be a welcome asset to the show but who knows what will happen?”

I think it would be great if she gets a role, they should put her in compitition with eva, they should produce a series where a sexy young man comes into the street maybe with mischa and theyr both fighting for his attention.

I dont care what desperate does anymore because it us eto be my favorite show but they would go months without a new episode and never carried on the last one so i dropped it. as far as micsha, is she a good actress? ive never seen the oc

The O.C. bores the crap out of me, i think it’s better for her that she’s out. I saw her in a movie once where she played a pregnant 14 year old, i think she did a good job.
Whatever she does next, i hope she’ll do it with a hot guy (i only watched that stinky “Alias” b/c of Michael Vartan).
