We will never forget. God bless the victims, the brave firefighters and police officers that died on this day six years ago.  The day everyday people became heroes.

I lost 2 friends and a cousin on 9/11 and it’s still hard for me to accept that they are gone to this day.  I really miss them. Thanks Calista for starting this thread and remembering those that lost their lives on that awful day.

today is my day for massive, self-induced denial. i was in DC on 9/11 and it was a nightmare (of course NYC was much worse) and wound up in therapy as a result. i decided this year to spare myself an extra trip to the shrink and try to not watch anything on tv about it b/c the day itself still relives itself in my head over and over with searing clarity. i don’t need to remember…i can’t never fucking forget!

I am sorry about your loss, Pepsi Girl.  Congrats on the twins!

I also hope Bin Laden has a extra special place reserved for him in Hell.  I find it the epitome of irony that the so called spokesman for Islam killed 500 American Muslims on that day.

Gambit, thank you for reminding me of the victims at the Pentagon and the heroes that brought down the plane headed for the White House.  I am sorry for what you went through.

I, too am sorry to hear about your loss, Pepsi. I think the scar of the attacks still hurt us even after 6 years
