According to various websites David Caruso DOES NOT WISH TO RECEIVE FANMAIL ANYMORE:
People do me a favour - LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
I don’t want to get any - love letters - fan mail - home-made jam, flowers, underwear. Please don’t bother me with your requests for autographs, stories of your life etc. I couldn’t care less. Get a life. I will never ever meet any of you left alone answer your silly letters again. I have given orders that every letter addressed to my mail-drop at Beverly Hills or to the set on Manhattan Beach will be send back or be destroyed.
I do not wish to get any fan mail anymore. Thanks, David

According to CBS, Ann Donahue and the TV Guide HE IS….and he starts to act SO MEAN towards his fans….

Is that for real? There’s so many grammatical and syntax errors in it that it makes me wonder if it was actually written up by one fan in order to “ice out” all the other fans, i.e., so the “only” letters he’d be getting will be hers?!?

I can’t say. I read that too. Maybe the mod of the other fan-pages made mistakes in writing it down. HOWEVER; I HAVE HEARD THAT CARUSO HAS HIS FAN-MAIL DESTROYED. At least the one he receives at the CBS studios. And he has closed down the mail-drop he had opened in Beverly Hills.
WHY SHOULD A FAN WRITE SUCH A THING?????

Well, Ms. Sleepy you would be surprised what - according to the man himself - people (fans) sent him since CSi Miami started in 2002. I’m kind of disappointed that he acts that way. I’ve heard he has a lot on his plate in his private life. But being rude to his fans is not the answer. SIGH.

To be honest with you, i never have watched csi or anything caruso related in my life, so i just didn’t realize he had so many fans.

Well, some people confuse Horatio Caine - his CSI Miami character who is virtually a saint - with the REAL DAVID CARUSO. Which couldn’t be farther from the truth. The real Caruso is divorced 3 times, had and has various affairs and is the proverbal male diva.
Horatio Caine is sexy - in a rugged kind of way.
