Madonna Defends Mock Crucification Stunt

Madonna has defended her controversial mock crucifixion stunt.

The 'Like A Virgin' star insists she never intended to offend anyone with
the act which she has been carrying out on her 'Confessions' world tour.

In a statement issued as the tour finished in Tokyo on Thursday (09.21.06),
Madonna said: "There seems to be many misinterpretations about my appearance
on the cross and I wanted to explain it myself once and for all.

"It is no different to a person wearing a cross or 'taking up the cross' as
it says in the Bible.

"My performance is not anti-Christian, sacrilegious or blasphemous. Rather,
it is my plea to the audience to encourage mankind to help one another and
to see the world as a unified whole."

She added: "I believe in my heart that if Jesus were alive today he would be
doing the same thing."



Madonna, 48, claims another one of her reasons for carrying out the stunt -
which has infuriated religious groups and leaders alike - was to draw
attention to the plight of children in Africa.

The 'Hung Up' singer explained: "I wanted to bring attention to the millions
of children in Africa who are dying every day or are living without care,
without medicine and without hope.

"I am asking people to open their hearts and minds to get involved in
whatever way they can."

Hilton being blackmailed after her own notorious burglary in August 2004:


Chun: Anybody trying to blackmail you with regard to...those private tapes that were taken from your Hollywood Boulevard residence?
Hilton: They were asking for money, but nothing ever happened.

Chun: Who was asking you for money?
Hilton: Some guy on the phone. I don't know. He was talkin' to my girlfriend about. I never talked to anybody...

Koman: Okay, your girlfriend?
Hilton: They...wanted money. They were tryin' to sell it to like a newspaper or something.

Koman: Who was the guy?
Hilton: I don't know.

Koman: Who was your girlfriend?
Hilton: Um, she was like ...

Koman: Spell that name.
Hilton: I don't know how to spell it...I was in Miami shooting a movie and I just heard about it. They were like ...some guy's tryin' to sell like the tapes to like a magazine. So if you pay somebody, then you're gonna be paying for the rest of your life. My dad always taught me. They'll keep the tape anyway.

Janet Jackson’s Man Loved Fat Sex

Janet Jackson says her sex life was brilliant when she was fat.

The singer - who piled on a whopping 68lbs for a role in new movie 'Tennesse', which she eventually had to turn down - revealed her lover, rapper and music producer, Jermaine Dupri, still found her sexy despite the extra weight.

Janet, the sister of pop superstar Michael Jackson, insists Jermaine was insatiable when she was heavier.

She told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Not once did he make me feel uncomfortable. He'd grab me, pull me around the stomach, look me in the eyes and say, 'This needs love too!'

"I thought that was the sweetest thing. I've never in my life had love that was so unconditional.

"My weight never affected my sex life. Nothing changed, nothing!"

The 40-year-old star is convinced she has found 'The One' in Jermaine, and is confident they will spend the rest of the their lives together.

She added: "I really don't see myself with anybody else. This is it."
