Paris Hilton Offered Job to Host Show

Paris Hilton has been offered a $1 million-a-year contract to host a US
local radio show.

KDWB Radio - which broadcast to Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota - have
offered the hotel heiress the six figure sum to co-host their morning show.

Current host Dave Ryan said: "We need a co-host. She needs something to do.


It's playing music and talking while sitting on a comfortable chair. There's
very little stress or anxiety and absolutely no metal toilets!"

KDWB's vice president Mick Anselmo said: "We're serious about it. It's just
a matter of working out the details."

The 26-year-old already has a career as a singer, actress and reality TV
star and is president of three businesses - Paris Hilton Entertainment,
Paris Hilton Enterprises and Heiress Records.

She has her own signature perfume and jewelery line, fronts a mobile phone
gaming service, had her autobiography on the best-seller list and also earns
up to $200,000 for public appearances at parties and social events.

She was listed on Forbes magazine's Top 100 Money-Earning Celebrities at
number 56 last year with an estimated annual income of $7 million.

Meanwhile, Paris - who was released from jail on Tuesday (06.26.07) after
serving 23 days for driving with a suspended license - flew to Hawaii
yesterday (06.28.07) for a holiday.

She traveled alone, disguised in a black wig and straw hat and is believed
to be staying at a Maui resort.

Before jetting out to the idyllic destination Paris took out a lease on a
$2.9 million Malibu beach house for the summer.

The 2,258 sq ft two bedroom house is described as being "right on the water"
, and has three bathrooms.

'The Simple Life' star's parents Kathy and Rick Hilton, are reportedly
planning to rent their own summer house nearby.

Paris told US chat show Larry King on Wednesday (06.27.07) she was doing a
"couple of movies this summer".

Brittany Murphy Needs a Younger Man

Brittany Murphy claims she is being stalked by a "high-powered Hollywood
player", says her former employee.

The 'Little Black Book' star also reportedly claimed her husband - British
screenwriter Simon Monjack - was kidnapped for 10 days in April by agents of
her supposed stalker, according to Brittany's former member of staff.

The unnamed male ex-employee told the New York Daily News newspaper: "When
he came back, he had head injuries. He was pale and sometimes had trouble
standing."

The 29-year-old actress then reportedly told the former member of staff she
could not pay him because she had used all her money for the ransom.

However, the dates of the alleged kidnapping coincide with tabloid reports
that Monjack was jailed by US immigration authorities for overstaying his
visa.

Brittany was rumoured to have married the 'Factory Girl' screenplay writer
to stop him being deported from the US.

According to reports, Monjack was arrested on expired visa charges in the
middle of the night on March 27 - just weeks before the couple's secret
wedding.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Brittany knew nothing about any
of that."

Monjack's lawyer said: "These charges are being made by disgruntled
ex-girlfriends and immigration officials have concluded the marriage had no
bearing on my client's visa status."



The couple, who began dating last year, tied the knot at their Los Angeles
home in front of close family and friends in May.

Brittany's representative said: "They were married at their home in Los
Angeles several weeks ago in a very intimate ceremony. It was officiated by
a rabbi and they were surrounded by their families."

The '8 Mile' star insists the deportation rumours are "preposterous lies."

Brittany told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Everything was just so fabricated
and hurtful."

Jordan Pops One Out

Jordan has given birth to a baby girl.

The British glamour model - real name Katie Price - delivered the tot at
8.49am on Friday morning (06.29.07) via C- section at London's
Portland Hospital.

The baby weighed in at a healthy 6lb 13ozs, and both mother and daughter are
said to be doing well.

A spokesperson for Jordan and proud dad Peter Andre said: "Peter and Katie
are happy to announce the birth of their first daughter.

"They are absolutely over the moon with the new addition to their family and
delighted to have a sister for Harvey and Junior - it is a dream come true!

"Both Katie and the baby are healthy and happy, and will be spending the
next few days resting in hospital."

The couple - who knew they were having a girl - are yet to name their new
arrival, although Jordan recently denied reports she was planning to call
her daughter Crystal.

She said: "I can guarantee I am not calling her Crystal! I haven't thought
of any names yet."

The 29-year-old star also vowed she would not give her daughter an unusual
name like so many other celebrities, including Gwyneth Paltrow who named her
child Apple and Sir Bob Geldof who called his daughter Peaches.

She said: "I won't be calling her an unusual name like Apple, Peaches or
Carrot!"
