Supermodel Sells Coke to Undercover Reporters

Supermodel Jodie Kidd has been dropped from a lucrative advertising campaign with High Street giant Marks & Spencer over her drugs-fixing scandal.

The 28-year-old supermodel, who was reportedly caught selling cocaine to undercover reporters, has yet to be told that her $500,000 contract with the store to advertise its credit card and financial services will not be renewed.

The store confirmed it would no longer be using her for any campaigns – with one source saying: "M&S doesn't do drugs. Period."

Steve Sharp, marketing director at M&S, told The Mail on Sunday Jodie's contract with the company would not be renewed. He said: "We do not have an ongoing contract with Jodie Kidd for M&S Money."

Luxury car manufacturers Maserati are also planning to distance themselves from Jodie. She represents them at a number of sporting events, including the annual Gumball Rally.

A source said: "Maserati were talking about severing all ties with Jodie and at one point wanted to confiscate the car they gave her. Jodie will have to wait and see what happens."

Jodie enjoyed huge success as the face of M&S's credit card and appeared in a television commercial as well as poster campaigns throughout stores advertising car and home insurance policies.



Although the 6ft 1in model was not filmed taking cocaine, she told reporters the drugs were good quality and said: "I do it. I'm not going to do s***."

One source close to M&S, who did not wish to be named, said: "We always thought Jodie was such a sporty girl and she never seemed the sort to do drugs.

"She was always polo mad, fresh faced and sparky. The news that she has been linked with cocaine dealing has come as a complete shock." Another source added: "There is really no alternative but to lose her from the campaigns. As a company we have to be whiter than white. We could never use someone like Kate Moss, for example. M&S doesn't do drugs or tarts. It's just not in keeping with the brand."

Jodie, who flew to America last week to host the Red Bull air race in San Diego, is said to be "devastated" by the drugs allegations and has told friends she fears her career is over.

She has also revealed that she cannot afford to take legal action against the newspaper. "I have spoken to Jodie and she is in pieces," a friend said. "She is devastated by the allegations but she has realized there is nothing she can do.

"She plans to keep her head down for the time being. Jodie is very short of cash having spent heavily on legal action brought by show business lawyers Schillings, who also advised BP boss Lord Browne in his disastrous court case."

Jodie was due to appear in last week's Fashion For Relief charity show hosted by Naomi Campbell. But friends say she pulled out at the last minute after being "mortally embarrassed" at having described Naomi as a "f***ing monster".

While Jodie has refused to comment on the allegations, friends say that she has been at a low stage in her life following her recent divorce from Aiden Butler. The couple split in August, less than a year after getting married.

Britney Spears New Inhaler Diet Secret

Britney Spears is reportedly using an asthma inhaler in a bid to lose
weight.

The troubled singer, who does not suffer from the respiratory illness, is
allegedly puffing on the medical aid to suppress her appetite.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Britney doesn't have asthma. She's using
the chemical epinephrine, found in asthma medications, as an appetite
suppressant."



Friends are extremely concerned about her reported use of the inhalers as
Australian cover girl Krissy Taylor died from using a similar weight loss
method.

The 17-year-old model, who had appeared in Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Elle
magazines, suffered a fatal heart attack after using an inhaler to control
her appetite.

Medics warn side effects include headaches, dizziness, nausea and an
irregular heartbeat.

Britney - whose figure was criticized after her performance at the MTV Video
Music awards, in which she wore a sparkly bra and hotpants - has told pals
she will "do anything" to lose weight.



Britney stopped at Quiznos yesterday in L.A to use the bathroom, but asked a photographer to come to her aid inside. WTF? She left the eatery with her sons in the backseat of her car.



Meanwhile Britney and Kevin Federline's lawyers met to "refine certain areas"
of their custody agreement yesterday.

The unscheduled court hearing comes just days after the 'Gimme More' singer'
s former bodyguard spoke out about her drug use and his fears for the
welfare of her children with ex-husband Kevin.

Kevin's attorney Mark V. Kaplan said outside the court: "This hearing is to
refine certain areas of the judge's previous order in the case."

Britney's attorney Sorrell Trope confirmed the court session related to the
custody arrangements for two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden
James, but both lawyers refused to elaborate.

On Friday , city prosecutors charged Britney with misdemeanor
counts of hit-and-run and driving without a valid license, claiming she
smashed her car into another vehicle in a parking lot on August 6.

If convicted, Britney could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine
for each count.

The first hearing relating to the charges is scheduled for October 10, but
Britney is not required to appear.

Kaplan said he does not expect the filing of the driving charges to have any
impact on the scheduled hearing dates on Kevin's request to increase his
custody time with his sons.

He and Britney currently have equal custody but he has requested the
division be changed to give him care of the children 70 per cent of the
time.

Kaplan said the first hearing date is set for November 26, but the second
date has been delayed from December 18 to early January.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon - who held yesterday's in-chambers
session with the lawyers - last week ordered Britney to undergo random
testing twice a week after finding she is involved in "habitual, frequent
and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol."
She must also attend parenting lessons.

He said: "I was told: ‘Don't stink around Britney. Make sure you use cologne and deodorant.

"Don't sweat in her presence—so, as a big guy, I was constantly having to wash my face when I was around her.

"Make sure you've cut your nails. Use mints so she can't be disgusted by your breath.

"Don't stare at her. Act coy when she walks around naked. Don't look at her bottom when she is getting in and out of a vehicle.

"Don't eat in front of her. Her standards were extreme."But Britney— who once made a bodyguard wash a laundry load of bras—was not the most pleasant person to be around.

He said: "It's the strangest thing, she likes to expose herself. I think part of it is she likes to embarrass people and make them feel uneasy.

"Before I even started working for her, I was warned about her stripping.

"I must have seen her naked dozens of times and each time I've been extremely embarrassed.

"She strips off anywhere—at home, recording studios and clubs.

"Even at the dance rehearsals, she took all her clothes off in front of me and then bent over, not even to pick anything up. I felt my ears burning and turned my head to the wall.

"Another time, she came running to the guardroom. All she had on was a pair of skimpy shorts. One hand was covering one breast but the other was exposed. I didn't know where to look.

Tony also told how Britney loved to get naked in swimming pools.

Tony said: "Britney and her friend Alli went out a lot of the time but never brought back any men. I found it odd how two good-looking, wealthy women could never attract nice men.

"Girls would come back to the house and they'd all get into the Jacuzzi. Britney would strip off and there'd be loads of screaming and noise.

Howie stayed over a couple of times. We both wore firearms when he was around the house. We didn't tell Britney—she would've freaked."

Britney was also obsessive about her clothes. Her bodyguards had to take pictures of her in what she was wearing EVERY day.

"She seemed to want to capture every outfit she wore," said Tony. "She loves dressing up in weird wigs and outfits.

"Every day she'd ask us all what we thought about what she was wearing. It really mattered to her.

"She'd say, ‘Do you think I look nice, y'all?' We'd all tell her ‘yes'—because we didn't want to risk putting our jobs on the line.

"Or being on the end of her temper."
