Model Naomi Campbell Charged

Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers.

The 37-year-old supermodel - who was removed from a British Airways plane at
London’s Heathrow Airport on April 3 - was told she faces prosecution on
five different counts as she arrived at Heathrow police station, in West
London, to answer bail yesterday morning (05/29/08).

Naomi’s lawyer Simon Nicholls said: “Ms. Campbell is bitterly disappointed
to find out she will be prosecuted on the five charges.

“Prosecutors in this case have decided she needs to be prosecuted in the
magistrates court. She respects that decision and she hopes this matter is
dealt with expeditiously.”



Following the alleged assault, Naomi was removed from the flight from London
to Los Angeles and banned from British Airways for life.

She now faces three counts of assaulting a constable, a charge which carries
a maximum sentence of six months in prison and a $10,000 fine
She also faces a count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment,
alarm or distress - for which she could be fined up to $5,000 - and one
count of using threatening, abusive words or behavior towards cabin crew,
for which there is a maximum penalty of $2,000.

She will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on June 20, according to the
Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).



Naomi refused to comment as she left the station, but she had no problem flashing an akward smile.

Paris Hilton and Joel Madden’s Dogs Are Dating

According to Paris’ boyfriend Benji Madden – who is Joel’s brother and Good
Charlotte bandmate – her Chihuahua Tinkerbell has been sniffing around
Joel’s pet Pitbull Terrier Eazy.

In a posting on the Good Charlotte website following a family party at
Paris’ house, Benji wrote: “There were lots of babies around and everyone
brought their dogs and they were all dressed up.

“We just found out that Eazy, Joel’s dog, and Tinkerbell are now seeing each
other. She seems happy, we wish them the best...”

Benji and Paris have been dating for three months and are reportedly
planning to marry.

Because Rehab is The Best Place To Recover From Foot Surgery

Steven Tyler went to rehab to recover from foot surgery.

The Aerosmith frontman - who checked into California's Las Encinas
Hospital's drug rehabilitation clinic last week - denies he was treated for
substance abuse, insisting he received medical help and physical therapy for
his podiatric problems.

In a statement released yesterday (05/29/08), the 'Walk This Way' singer
said: "The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it
would require a few surgeries over time.

"The 'foot repair' pain was intense, greater than I had anticipated. The
months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy
were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I
could shut off my phone and get back on my feet."

Tyler - who battled alcoholism and drug abuse in the 70s and 80s - also
revealed his foot injuries were caused by his "trademark athletic
performance onstage".

The 60-year-old rocker has assured Aerosmith fans his current problems will
have no effect on the band, adding: "Make no mistake, Aerosmith has no plans
to stop rocking. There's a new album to record, then another tour."
