Little Mariah Carey Babies

Mariah Carey has revealed she is already planning children.

The singer - who married rapper Nick Cannon last week (04.30.08) in the
Bahamas following a six-week romance - says children could be on the cards.

She said: "It's part of the whole purpose of getting married. I just want
our children to have the best childhood and upbringing they possibly could."

According to reports, friends and family were invited out to the Bahamas for
the wedding under the impression they were going to shoot a music video.

Only those who had seen Mariah's new 'Mrs Cannon' tattoo and Nick's 'Mariah'
tattoo had an idea the wedding was going to happen.

It has also been revealed Mariah was so protective of her wedding cake she
insisted on traveling with it on a private jet.

A source revealed: "The cake was on the seat next to her. She wouldn't let
anyone come near it or touch it."

The pair had live lobsters, fine china, flowers and Dom Perignon champagne
flown in for the beach front ceremony where just a dozen guests watched them
tie the knot.

Mariah and Nick started dating when he starred in the video for her new
single 'Bye Bye' in March.

Just Friends?

For friends Rihanna and Chris Brown are pretty close while at a KFC in Miami on Wednesday.

Rihanna – who has previously been romantically linked to actor Josh Hartnett
– also refused to comment on a budding romance with singer Chris Brown, but
admitted they were “very close”.

She revaled to Elle magazine: “We've always been friends, but we are
very close now.”

On rumors of a romance with Jay-Z:

“I get asked about it all the time and I’m like, ‘You are asking, but you know the answer.’ I
don’t even like to address it anymore, it’s crazy that the press ask me
that. People know that it’s not true.”

The 20-year-old singer previously said she avoided dating men in the
entertainment industry, as they would never get to see each other.

She said: “If I was dating someone who wasn't in this industry they would be
in the same place, all the time, so I could go back to that place and know
where they were. If they did what I do we'd both be traveling at the same
time and we would never see each other.”

Britney To Buy a Mansion Near Kevin Federline

Britney Spears is reportedly considering buying a $5.96 million mansion in
Encino, Los Angeles.

The troubled singer – who was recently given back some of her visitation
rights to her two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline - viewed the
five-bedroom, six-bathroom property yesterday afternoon (05.07.08).

The 7,300 sq ft mansion – which is not far from Kevin’s house in Tarzana -
boasts vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, fountains, a spiral staircase, a
Jacuzzi, a swimming pool with a spa, an indoor and outdoor dining room, a
wine cellar, a family room and a designer kitchen complete with
state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances.

Britney, 26, recently came under fire after allegedly trashing the
$35,000-a-month mansion she rented in Malibu, California.

It was claimed Britney never lived in the mansion, but held parties there,
which resulted in massive damage.

The source said: “The house was left a wreck. Cigarette burns and cigarette
butts were everywhere - and empty bottles of wine were strewed about the
place.

“Most of the furniture was ruined with stains, tears or nicks. Rotting food
was left in the refrigerator. Spilled wine soiled the carpets and floors. No
one picked up after Britney's dogs, and many ‘presents' of dog poop were
left behind for the owners.”

Meanwhile, Britney's pregnant 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn has revealed the
'Toxic' singer has given some advice about parenting.

She said: "She told me, ‘There are going to be some long nights, but it is
completely worth it.'"

Britney Spears Vents at the Recording Studio

Britney Spears leaving the recording studio in Burbank last night after a day at court (05/06/08).

Although it was not made clear how Britney’s visitation rights have
increased, Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan said it was an “expansion of
time”, and went on to praise the troubled singer’s progress.

He said: "It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless.

“We are seeing signs of her progress, and consistency over time is something
welcome by Kevin.

“The children are doing great."

Britney, who was accompanied by her family as she left the Los Angeles
court, refused to comment on the ruling.

The singer’s parents Jamie and Lynne said in a statement: "We are so pleased
with Britney's progress, and we are appreciative of the court's recognition
of this progress."

Kevin’s spokesperson Elliot Mintz was pleased with the ruling, saying: "At
the end of this saga Kevin is hoping and believing that there will be two
children who are raised in the company of the two people who love them.”

During the closed hearing, the court heard details of a report on Britney’s
mental health.

The singer was first stripped of visitation rights to Sean Preston, two, and
one-year-old Jayden James in January after she was ruled to be a danger to
herself and the children.

In February, the ruling was amended to allow occasional supervised visits
with her sons.

Britney’s father and lawyer currently have control of the singer’s personal
and business affairs, which will be reviewed at a hearing in July.
