Amy Winehouse is Single

Amy Winehouse has met with lawyers to discuss a separation from husband
Blake Fielder-Civil.

Amy, who is in hospital, asked her father Mitch to organize the meeting
on November 27th after arguing on the phone with Blake – who was
recently released from prison.

A source said: “She is finally realizing that Blake is bad for her. Amy is
now taking the first steps in becoming a single woman again.”

The troubled singer was taken in for tests following a drink and drugs binge
at the weekend, although her spokesman claimed the 25-year-old star had
suffered a seizure caused by the prescription medication she is taking.

A friend said of Amy’s collapse: “Amy and Blake had a screaming row. She was
beside herself after the call - and she just lost it. She went out and
didn't stop until she was on the floor on Sunday. If she carries on, one of
these incidents will be her last."

It has been claimed 26-year-old Blake - who is currently in rehab - is
making abusive calls to Amy even while she is being treated in hospital.

Amy recently told friends her marriage is beyond repair, telling one pal:

“It's over. There's no way back for us now. It was never going to last. We
were only together for sex.”

Blake was released early from jail on November 5, after serving a sentence
for grievous bodily harm (GBH) and attempting to pervert the course of
justice. He was then admitted directly to a rehab facility.

Earlier this week, he lost an appeal to have his sentence reduced. Amy and
Blake have not met since his release.
