Mickey Rourke Says Wrestling Is Like “Ballet”
The 56-year-old actor - who was once a professional boxer - underwentpro-wrestling training for his part in new movie 'The Wrestler' and now has
more admiration for the stars of the sport.
He said: "It's choreographed like a ballet. I have respect for them now
because I don't compare it to boxing, it's a totally different arena. It's
something by itself that you can't define. Almost like circus."

HRC/ Wenn
Mickey reveals he initially thought wrestling was more about entertainment
than sport, but soon realised it can be just as vicious as boxing.
He explained: "It's a sport, because yes, you do get hurt, and you get hurt
because you throw yourself around for the audience. But when you land, you
really get f***ed up. By the time wrestlers are in their late 30s or 40s,
most of them are half-crippled.
"I met so many wrestlers in wheelchairs or paralyzed because they do it for
15 years; they kill themselves for the fans. They did it for the love, for
the glory."
Respect The Body Over and Over Again
Christina Aguilera has "a newfound respect" for her body after giving birth. The 'Dirrty' singer - who welcomed son Max Liron, her first child with
husband Jordan Bratman, into the world in January - was amazed at how much
the female anatomy could endure during labor.

Wenn
She said: "I really have a newfound respect for the female body after going
through this process. I still have a way to go with losing the weight but I
will start working out and boxing soon, but I'm not going to go crazy about
it."
Christina also revealed how she managed to lose her post-pregnancy pounds.
She added: "I had to really curb my love for junk food. And it's not just
about looking good. I don't want to get heart disease or cancer. It's
important to take care of yourself - especially as a woman."
Should Lindsay Lohan Trust Her Dad Ever Again?
Michael Lohan has called a "truce" with daughter Lindsay. The 48-year-old parent has vowed to stop criticizing Lindsay, 22, and her
girlfriend Samantha Ronson after previously threatening to release "emails,
texts, depositions and audio tapes" which would show Samantha was only with
Lindsay for her money.

However, Michael has now revealed he regrets his past behavior, and feels
the new year is the perfect time to mend his relationship with Lindsay.
He said: "There is a truce between Lindsay and I, so please stop adding any
fuel to the fire. I respectfully ask that all sources, so called friends and
mouthpieces refrain from any more comments or suggestions on her blog."
The blog post on Michael's new official site MikeLohanOnline.com is the
latest development in Lindsay's notoriously difficult relationship with her
father.
Earlier this week, Samantha responded to Michael's claims that she had
written a post on Lindsay's MySpace page accusing him of fathering an
illegitimate child.
After Michael saying he was "99 per cent" sure Samantha had penned the blog
- in which 'Lindsay' blasted Michael for keeping the third child a secret -
Samantha responded: "Ha! That's funny, but I don't ghost-write MySpace
blogs. Good thing he left that one per cent window open so he wasn't 100 per
cent wrong for once."
High Heel Workout
Victoria Silvstedt says wearing high shoes keeps her in shape. The former Playboy Playmate credits her enviable figure to the “high- heel
workout”, claiming tottering in vertiginous footwear helps her legs stay
toned.

Wenn
When asked what the secret was to her amazing body, Victoria replied: “How I
stay in shape? 12 hours a day in heels, I’m, literally moving all day long
in heels. When I’m not working I do go to the gym and do my cardio but
nothing beats the high-heel workout!”
The 34-year-old beauty also says she is keen to have children, despite not
having a boyfriend.

She added: “I do get kind of jealous when I see women with children but look
at Angelina Jolie, she is like a super mama and proof that you can have a
career and a family.
“I don’t really have time for men at the moment anyway. I’m back and forth
between Paris and Rome so I’m like a ping-pong ball. When I do get any time
off I spend it with my girlfriends so it hasn’t been great for meeting men.”
Britney Spears Might Break It
Britney Spears' New Years' resolution is to stop biting her nails. She said: "Next year, I have to learn to stop biting my nails!."
The 27-year-old singer - who lost custody of her two sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, following her public breakdown at the beginning of the year - added she hopes to put her problems behind her in 2009.
Britney said: "I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time. And to learn how to be happier, just in general. I have to learn to take things not so seriously."
However, the star won't be too hard on herself if she doesn't manage to stick to her plans as she usually loses interest in her resolutions quickly.
She said: "I end up breaking them. It's hard."
She's a nail biter for life and it's hard to stop worrying. Brit needs to listen to her own advice more.
