Heather Mills Vegan Restaurant: Fake Meat With Real Meat Taste
Heather Mills says people will be “shocked” by her new vegan restaurant.The former model, who plans to open a chain of eateries, claims customers
visiting V-Bites in Brighton, UK, will relish the tasty meat-free meals she
has been working on for years.
She said: “I think the food is really going to surprise everyone. Most
people’s diet is 70 per cent vegan anyway, as they eat rice, pasta and
bread, but they just don’t associate the two.
“What is going to shock people most is the meat replacements. I have been
working on them for seven years and they have a real meat taste."
The charity campaigner – who was previously married to former Beatles star
Paul McCartney – hopes to change people’s attitudes to vegan food with
her new venture but admits it will be a slow process.
She said: “We are not going to change the world with just one restaurant.
“What many people don’t realize is that the biggest contribution to global
warming is the production of meat and dairy.
“I am not telling people to stop eating meat and dairy altogether. I’m just
saying come and try it one day a week, have a nice meal and do your bit for
the environment.”

Heather won’t open the doors of V-Bites – which she bought in March – until
July but nearby residents can get a taste of what she will be offering when
she cooks at a local ‘Foodie Festival’ this weekend.
One resident commented: "Audience members will be able to chat to the chefs,
so it should be an interesting preview of what she plans to do with her new
venture. Not to mention a little insight into what Paul used to get for his
tea."

Megan Fox has been named the world's second-most "drooled over woman".The 'Transformers' actress came second in Maxim magazine’s 2009 Hot 100, an
annual poll to find the world's most desirable women.
Maxim wrote: "Seriously, do women get more painfully hot than this? Megan
Fox has the face of an angel, a body so perfect that God may have carved it
out of soap and sex appeal that could melt a unicorn's horn. Plus, we hear
she smells like clouds."
The brunette beauty lost the top spot to 'House' star Olivia Wilde, who is
apparently so sexy she "makes body temperatures rise".
Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli – who is dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio -
came third, thanks to her "brain blowing body", while 'Watchmen' star Malin
Akerman and actress Mila Kunis came fourth and fifth respectively.
Eliza Dushku, Adriana Lima, Rihanna, Jordana Brewster and Jennifer Love
Hewitt rounded off the top 10.
For the first time in the history of the poll, a First Lady made the cut.
Michelle Obama, the wife of US President Barack Obama, appeared on the list
at number 93.
Maxim wrote of Michelle: "President Obama may be dealing with two wars, an
economic meltdown, and a rapidly greying dome, but at least our
Commander-in-Chief gets to come home to the hottest First Lady in the
history of these United States."
Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Alba and Jessica
Biel also appeared in the top 20.

Eminem Disses Mariah Again, His New Clean Diet
The Sun:Eminem took another shot at Mariah as he spoke on his satellite channel Shade 45.
He told listeners: "We're taking callers right now (from) any woman who wants to be peed on."
When asked what he'd say to Mariah if she called in, the MC replied: "I already did that."
THE REAL SLIM SHADY
Eminem is requesting fruit and vegetables on his riders to maintain his new
slimline figure.
The ‘We Made You’ rapper, who recently shed 28lbs by cutting out alcohol and
fatty foods, was determined to stick to his new eating regime when he flew
to London to appear on hit British talk show ‘Friday Night With Jonathan
Ross’.
Instead of the usual calorific drinks and treats demanded by many stars,
Eminem asked for skinless chicken, mineral water, raw vegetables, fresh
fruit and a seafood platter.
A source close to the 36-year-old star – real name Marshall Mathers – told
Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Marshall looks amazing now. He’s never
really taken pride in his appearance but after getting clean, he’s quit
alcohol altogether. For him, this goes hand in hand with eating sensibly.
“He used to live off fried chicken, fries, burgers and his real favorite,
drumsticks. Now he’s eating only grilled meats and fish, fruit and
vegetables, but no refined carbs. His riders are unrecognizable from those
of four years ago.”
During his interview with Jonathan Ross, Eminem revealed he wanted to kill
himself at the height of his addiction problems.
He said: "I just wasn't taking care of myself, at times I wanted to just
give it up.
"I was in a dark place. I wanted to pull back from the spotlight to reassess
my whole career.
"I got sober but it was pretty rough. A couple of years were bad for me."

Paris Hilton has vehemently denied she threw a house party which led to the vandalism of her neighbors' cars - insisting her own luxury vehicle was also attacked.

According to reports, residents in a plush Hollywood Hills neighborhood were forced to call the cops in the early hours of Tuesday (12May09) to complain about noise coming from the vicinity of Hilton's home.
The property actually belonged to the star's boyfriend Doug Reinhardt.
Homeowners received a nasty shock when they awoke hours later to find their vehicles had been scratched with keys and pelted with eggs - and quickly pointed the finger at Hilton and Reinhardt's partying pals.
But the star is fuming she has been blamed for the incident and insists she was not interviewed by police over the vandalism - but was in fact completing her own victim's report.
She tells E! Online, "This is ridiculous. We had nothing to do with this. My blue Bentley was egged and I even filed a victim's report."
However, Hilton has hinted at who she believes are the culprits - claiming a large group of paparazzi had camped outside the address and were causing a commotion.
She explains, "Nicky (sister) lives directly across the street. David (Katzenberg, Nicky's boyfriend) was woken up by the paparazzi as well." (WENN/MJ/WNWE/CL)
