Actor Brad Pitt spent part of his Father's Day filming on the set of his newest project World War Z on the island of Malta on June 19, 2011. Meanwhile a few days earlier on the 16th his partner goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie traveled to Turkey to visit Syrian refugees in Altinozu, Turkey. The Syrian government is cracking down on protests demanding the resignation of President Bashar al-Assad. More than 1,200 people have been killed since the conflict began three months ago.

Socialite Paris Hilton, from the reality TV series The World According to Paris, attended Cable Show 2011 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL on June 16th, 2011, where she posed with and signed autographs for fans. A few days later on the 20th, Paris was spotted at a Pain Relief Center in Beverly Hills, California. Maybe Paris is overworking herself and simply needed a deep tissue massage to get over her split from Cy.
