The Wait Starts For G.I. Joe

'G.I. Joe: Retaliation's release date has been pushed back to 2013 in order to add 3D technology.

The action sequel - starring Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - was originally scheduled to appear in cinemas on June 28, 2012 but Paramount Studios executives have decided to postpone the release so they can add the computer imagery.

A source told Deadline: "We're going to do a conscientious 3D job because we've seen how it can better box office internationally. Jim Cameron did all of 'Titanic's 3D in post - and look how well that movie turned out."



Director Jon Chu previously revealed he chose not to shoot in 3D because the studio didn't give him enough time to do it properly.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: "There was a point where we were talking about it when I first came. It seemed like a natural thing, but I told them, 'I know 3D. This is what we need. If we're going to do 3D, we're going to do it right.' It had a certain price tag to it, and I was like, if you guys are down I'm down, but I do need more time to do it right.

"And they were about to do it but they cut it just a little bit short, and [I said,] 'if you guys are going to cut it short there is no point. Let's make a movie - let's go for it and we'll go all out.' And we shot on film, super-35, and I thought this may be one of the last times I get to shoot on film, and it was actually kind of freeing. I mean, I love 3D and I think there is a lot you can do with it, but there is something to be said about just not waiting for anything. You're just going. We shot so much film. I mean I think we shot 1.2 million feet of film."

Sharon Stone Is A Filipino Hater

Sharon Stone's former nanny is suing the actress amid claims the Oscar winner insulted her Filipino heritage.

Erlinda Elemen was fired by the star in February 2011, after Sharon reportedly discovered she had wrongly been paid overtime, and Ms Elemen alleges Sharon made a number of disparaging comments about Filipinos, including calling them stupid people.

According to the lawsuit, 'Basic Instinct' star Sharon "criticized Plaintiff for frequently attending church and, on one occasion, forbade Plaintiff from reading the bible in Plaintiff's room in Defendant's residence," and ordered her not to speak to her three kids Roan, Laird and Quinn because she did not want them "to talk" like her.



Ms Elemen's attorney, Solomon Gresen said he hopes the suit will draw attention to the broader issue of overtime pay for domestic employees.
He told The Wrap: "A common problem for employees in household occupations concerns the receipt of overtime and other wages. When a celebrity does it, it only serves to draw attention to the fact that there are thousands of people who are being underpaid. Hopefully, the publicity generated from this lawsuit will be of benefit to others and will prompt some change in the lives of ordinary citizens.

"It's unfortunate when a California employee has to endure harassment, particularly a live-in employee who has little power to avoid the behavior."

However, 54-year-old Sharon's publicist, Paul Bloch, called the nanny a disgruntled former employee who first sought disability and worker's compensation payments after she was sacked 15 months ago.
He said in a statement: "Now, she is obviously looking for another opportunity to cash in.
"This is a frivolous lawsuit for absurd claims that are made-up and fabricated. Sharon Stone will be completely vindicated in court."

Usher Cheated With His Bride’s Bridesmaid

Usher has been accused of cheating on his ex-wife with her bridesmaid.

The 33-year-old singer was questioned about sleeping with the woman during his two-year marriage to Tameka Foster during his appearance at Fulton County Court, Atlanta on Tuesday.

The star - whose full name is Usher Terry Raymond IV - is currently embroiled in a custody battle over his two children Usher Raymond V, four, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, three.



Apparently his lawyer objected to being quizzed about the incident involving Maya Fox Davis who used to be a nanny to their offspring and was also involved in their 2007 wedding.

According to TMZ, he was asked if she left her work position "because you were discovered in bed with [her]."



The trial is in recess and will be back in session in July.

Usher broke down in tears at allegations he was a bad father on Monday.

The 'Without You' singer was accused of excessive partying by his former partner's attorney, who showed pictures of him out at clubs while in Europe recently.

The attorney also asked him whether he took drugs to try and prove he was not a fit parent to stop him from getting further time with his kids.
