Victoria Beckham’s First Store Coming
Victoria Beckham plans to open her first shop in London.
The fashion designer is already working on getting her first ever standalone store in the English capital city and she also hopes to open retail units in Hong Kong.
She said: "People say, 'Am I going to have my own store?' I would love to.
"That's what I'm working on at the moment. It would probably be in London, but in the not-too-distant future maybe it will be Hong Kong. Who knows?"
The 38-year-old brunette is eager to take her business as far afield as possible and she sees Asia as a "very exciting" prospect, but the former Spice Girls singer is conscious about the dangers of expanding her fashion empire too quickly.
She explained: "What I do really is not just focus on the US or England.
"I mean there are a lot of territories that are really big for me and Asia is very exciting. I'm just scratching the surface at the moment. I want take baby steps with this business; I don't want to run before I can walk."
Victoria regards one of her career highlights as dressing TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey, and she was particularly excited about choosing the 58-year-old star's clothes because she is "curvaceous".
Speaking on CNN's 'Talk Asia', she added: "One of the most exciting points of my career was dressing Oprah, for example, a woman that...I mean I met Oprah and I didn't know whether I should shake her hand or curtsy. I mean literally, and the fact that I had the opportunity to dress Oprah, who is definitely a more curvaceous women. So that's what feels very exciting for me.
"It's the fact that I am designing dresses that are for women, whatever age and whatever shape and size."
Will.i.a.m Carries the Olympic Torch
Will.i.am says carrying the Olympic torch was a dream come true.
The Black Eyed Peas star was chosen as one of the 8,000 inspirational people to become a torchbearer as the flame makes its way across the UK ahead of the London Games this summer and he admits it was a thrill to be involved.
Speaking in Taunton, Devon, South West England, where he carried the torch today, will.i.am said: "It feels like a dream. This is something you've always seen growing up so to be here today in the UK with all the hard work it took me to be able to get to this level and do that, it's just pursuing my dreams. And now I'm in the UK and running with the torch and it's great."
After running with the torch, the 'I Gotta Feeling' hitmaker then took to his twitter account to speak of his joy at being involved.
He wrote: "A great memory in the town of tauton today...#tweetthetorch... (sic)"
"Taking off in the hip.hop.copter...i loved tauton...great people...#tweetthetorch (sic)"
The torch arrived in Britain from Greece on Friday with soccer star David Beckham being one of the people to help bring it into the country.
London 2012 starts on July 27, where the flame will be carried into the Olympic Stadium after its tour of the UK.
Zoe Couldn’t Sleep, And We Had Nightmares
Rachel Zoe spent sleepless nights over the Met Ball dress she designed for Karolina Kurkova.
Model Karolina stunned critics at the prestigious event in New York last week in a custom-made sequinned gold gown from the Rachel Zoe Collection but the designer admits she was very nervous beforehand.
Stylist to the stars Rachel - whose clients include Cameron Diaz, Anne Hathaway and Eva Medes - told website FabSugar: "I spent a lot of nights dreaming about what I wanted it to look like. Long sleeves, a very low back and a high neck were all musts for the dress, but the much-talked about headpiece was a last-minute addition.
"It happened literally the day before. 'What can I add to really take it to the next level?' So we made the turban-slash-head-wrap to give it that deco-glamour that [Elsa] Schiaparelli was so known for."
Karolina, 28, walked the red carpet in the floor-length bodycon number at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala with 40-year-old Rachel, who wore a white dress from Commes des Garcons.
Rachel was nervous about designing a custom-made piece for the prestigious New York City event.
She said: "Not in my lifetime did I think that it would be a reality," she admitted. "Honestly, I don't think I've recovered from it - it was hard work, a long process and an incredible process."
The Met Ball saw a number of other fashion-forward looks on celebrities like Florence Welch, Beyonce and Marc Jacobs - who wore a see-through lace shirt dress.
Miranda Kerr’s 60/40 Plan
Miranda Kerr's most "special" career moment was taking to the catwalk when she was pregnant.
The Australian model enjoyed the Balenciaga show at Paris fashion week in September 2010.
Because she feels that she and her son Flynn - who was born in January 2011 - did the job "together".
She said: "I was pregnant at the time, so my son Flynn and I walked the catwalk together. He was in my belly, so it made it really special."
Miranda - who is married to actor Orlando Bloom - has taken a step back from modeling since giving birth, and although she stars in Bally's spring/summer 2012 campaign, she is trying to keep a healthy balance between working and being a mother.
She added to Vogue.co.uk: "At the moment I'm trying to do 60/40 - I spend most of my time at home being a mother and only work on jobs that I really love and with brands that I really want to work with.
"I've cut back quite a bit because especially the travelling can be too much and my son is obviously my number one priority.
"It's working out well at the moment because I'm doing fun jobs here and there and getting to spend lots of time with my boys."
Kirsten Bell To Host CMT Music Awards
Kristen Bell and Toby Keith will host this year's CMT Music Awards.
The 'House of Lies' actress and the 'Made in America' singer will present the annual ceremony, which takes place in Nashville, Tennesse on June 6.
John Hamlin, SVP, Music Events and Talent, CMT, told Us Weekly: "Toby Keith and Kristen Bell are a terrific one-two knockout punch for the 2012 CMT Music Awards. Toby has been involved with our show every year since its inception and Kristen is as entertaining and witty as any young actor working today. We're thrilled to have them both as hosts for this year's show."
Kristen said of presenting the awards: "Country music makes me happy."
Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band are already confirmed to be performing at the awards with more acts set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Carrie leads the nominations with five nominations while Miranda Lambert has four and Taylor Swift received three.
Usher Testifies Against Ex-Wife
Usher claims ex-wife Tameka Foster spat on his current girlfriend during a row.
The 'OMG' singer - who is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle with his former spouse over their kids Usher, four, and Naviyd, three - took to the stand in an Atlanta court today where he testified against Tameka and alleged she "wanted to fight" when he turned up at her house with his new flame.
According to gossip website TMZ, Usher claims Tameka walked to his car and said, 'I'm gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?
"She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her."
Usher claims he had to get out of the car and block Tameka but she hit him. He then pleaded with Tameka to calm down, but claims "she threw a plate of food at the car". He then said he fled the situation.
At the beginning of this month, the couple were ordered to work out their differences and come to an agreement over custody of their children, a sticking point in their divorce proceedings.
Usher, 33, and Tameka, 40, filed for divorce in June 2009 after almost two years of marriage. She later filed court documents in Georgia asking the singer to be stripped of joint physical custody of their sons.
Tameka has previously alleged Usher is behind on $34,000 worth of payments after promising her $5,000-a-month to pay for a nanny.
