Tony Romo Flew His New Girlfriend In For 3 Days After Simpson Split

Tony Romo ditched Jessica Simpson after striking up a close friendship with the daughter of his college sports coach, according to tabloid reports. The pair shocked the showbiz world when they split this month coming so soon after rumors they planned to tie the knot. However Us Weekly magazine alleges a second woman may have contributed to the break-up. Sources tell the tabloid that in the months leading up to the split, Romo had been exchanging flirty text messages and emails with 22-year-old Natalie Smith, whose dad John coached the sportsman at Eastern Illinois University. It's also alleged that Romo flew Smith to his Dallas, Texas home for a three-day stay shortly after he split from Simpson.

The insider tells Us, "They're not officially dating, but they are having an intimate relationship.

"No one who knows them is surprised."

When approached by Us, Smith denied she was anything more than "friends" with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, insisting, "This is crazy. We have always been friends and there is nothing else to it."

SIENNA MILLER has sparked speculation she has reunited with ex-boyfriend BALTHAZAR GETTY after the pair was reportedly snapped kissing on a romantic Italian break.

BRAD PITT has landed himself a longer summer vacation - his new movie has reportedly been shelved.
Sports film Moneyball was scheduled to go before the cameras on Monday (22Jun09) but studio executives at Columbia Pictures were unhappy with director Steven Soderbergh's final script adaptation of Michael Lewis bestselling book, according to trade publication Daily Variety.
According to the magazine, Columbia Pictures president Amy Pascal made the decision to halt the movie late last week (ends19Jun09).
As WENN went to press, there were no details as to whether the film, about baseball general manager Billy Beane, would be delayed or canceled indefinitely.

Hart says, "I drove their car for them to drive the photographers outside off the scent. It is completely round the bend. The Sk8er Boi singer was expected to attend Canada's annual Napanee Multicultural Festival in her home town of Napanee on Saturday (20Jun09).
Lavigne was slated to take to the stage to accept a trophy for cultural contributions through her music.
But fans were left disappointed when the star failed to turn up at the event, with a spokesperson for the awards ceremony telling the audience: "The person I was dealing with who made certain promises to me about Avril (or her father) appearing evidently did not keep their promise".
However, Lavigne insists there is no way she could have attended the bash - because she had never heard of the ceremony until the story of her no-show broke on the internet.
A statement on her MySpace.com blog reads, "Avril was not committed to attend the Napanee Ontario Multicultural Festival. Her management had no knowledge of this event.

STEPHEN BALDWIN quit reality TV show I'M A CELEBRITY... GET ME OUT OF HERE! after insects laid their eggs under his skin.
The actor proved popular on the programme and was tipped to win the series when it ends later this week (beg22Jun09), but he quit on Saturday (20Jun09) with no explanation.
Now the star has revealed he was bitten more than 125 times by flying critters - and was told by a medic that the insects had implanted larvae under his skin.
Speaking on blogtalkradio, Baldwin said: "I suffered in the first eight days of production, while in the jungle, over 125 insect bites on my body... I had about thirty on my left leg... 25 or 30 on each arm, kind of all over and two of them, much to my surprise, became quite lumpy initially.
"Within about 72 hours they were these half dollar-sized lumps under my skin that were probably about an inch thick and were situations where they just weren't a reaction that were the same as the others - 123 so to speak.
"I did get to take some time with the medic who explained that in his opinion at that point he didn't think that it was the 'implantation of insect larvae into my flesh', but that - oh gosh - that's what it could be... So they tested these things and sure enough, Stevie B was 'pregnant'."
Baldwin was so intrigued by the process he videotaped the medics removing the larvae from his skin, which he describes as the "creepiest thing that you could think of". (KD//ZN)

Actor T.R. KNIGHT isn't wasting any time finding work after quitting GREY'S ANATOMY - he has signed up to play a convicted child killer who was hanged by vigilantes in a musical revival.
The TV star will play Leo Frank in director Jason Robert Brown's Los Angeles stage production of Parade.
He says, "I am very fortunate to return to the theater playing Leo Frank in this incredible, acclaimed production of Parade. After a five-year break, it feels great to be on stage again."
The Tony-award winning show chronicles the events following Frank's 1913 conviction of the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan in Atlanta, Georgia.
While state authorities were investigating evidence which cast doubt on Frank's guilt, he was kidnapped from prison and lynched by a group of prominent citizens, calling themselves the Knights of Mary Phagan.
Parade will open in September (09).

The film chronicles the club scene on Ibiza - and those who play a major part in it.
The movie premiered at the Ibiza Film Festival and will be shown as part of the Notting Hill Festival in London in July (09).
Mistry tells WENN, "What I hope people get out of the documentary is that Ibiza is a very spiritual place. There's a reason why the best clubs in the world are in Ibiza and I wanted to go and find out why.

BLACK EYED PEAS star WILL.I.AM is facing a police quiz after celebrity blogger PEREZ HILTON alleged he was assaulted by the hip-hop star and his entourage following an awards show.
Hilton and will.i.am clashed at a party after the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada on Sunday night (21Jun09) over comments the gossip king posted on his website.
He alleged he was left bleeding and in shock when the Black Eyed Peas star attacked him - and called in police who are investigating the incident.
But will.i.am immediately hit back - insisting there was no violence and that crazed Hilton had branded him a "f**got" as they argued outside a nightclub in Toronto.
In a series of messages on Twitter.com following the incident, Hilton wrote: "I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke... Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.
"I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities... The Toronto police are here now... The police are investigating the assault now. I did the right thing by reporting it... I won't be talking about this any further. It is in the hands of the authorities."
But will.i.am insists he is innocent, and it was a "crazed fan" who confronted Hilton after the pair argued.
In a video on his website, the star says he spoke to Hilton after the blogger made "disrespectful" comments about his Black Eyed Peas bandmate Fergie.
He says, "So I go up to him and say, 'Hey, can you do me a favor, Perez?... Can you not be so blatantly rude to our group on your website? That's just wrong - you don't have to be disrespectful.' He said, 'I don't respect you.' I was like, 'What? Ok, if you don't respect me that's cool.'
"This dude walks away and I leave and then he says, 'That was very f**got of you for coming at me like that.'... So this dude says in front of a whole bunch of people, 'You're a f**got, will.i.am!' So I'm like, 'Wow, whatever.' So he walks away and then one of the fans gets all crazy and starts on Perez Hilton. I'm just sitting there minding my own business waiting for a car. Rockers NICKELBACK are the toast of the Canadian music industry, scooping three trophies at the country's MuchMusic Video Awards.
The Rockstar hitmakers were handed prizes for Best Video, Best Rock Video and Best Post-production, all for Gotta Be Somebody, at the ceremony in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night (21Jun09).

Guetta admits they were forced to unleash the song early because another version began circulating online - and the star decided to beat the music thieves in the charts rather than face a lengthy court battle over copyright.

Ndour has helped the government to find the funds to purchase 2.2 million insecticide-treated mosquito nets for distribution around Senegal later this month (Jun09).
And Ndour insists it is time people began to take malaria and its possibly fatal effects seriously.

* GRIFFITHS GIVES BIRTH TO A DAUGHTER
Actress RACHEL GRIFFITHS has welcomed her third child with husband ANDREW TAYLOR.
The Australian star gave birth to a baby girl last week (ends21Jun09) and is ecstatic with the new addition to her brood.
Griffiths and Taylor are already parents to five-year-old son, Banjo Patrick, and Adelaide Rose, three.
But the news might not be welcomed by Griffiths pals - who insist the star is a much nicer person when she's pregnant.
She explained before the birth, "Apparently I'm really nice pregnant. The wardrobe department begged me never to have this baby. They said, 'We love you pregnant; you're so much nicer.' Maybe I'm less hormonal." (MJ/WNWCPL/LR)

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY is to become a father again - his girlfriend CAMILA ALVES is pregnant with the couple's second child.
The Hollywood actor, 39, who already has an 11-month-old son, Levi, with Alves, took to the Internet on Father's Day (21Jun09) to announce the happy news.
He writes on his official website, "Happy Father's Day. It's my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date. We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father's Day that (will) make this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother... Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. * GAMBON WELCOMES SECOND LOVE CHILD
HARRY POTTER star SIR MICHAEL GAMBON is expanding his second family - he has fathered another child with his mistress.
The British actor, 68, has a 44-year-old son with his wife, Lady Anne, but splits his time between his family and life with 43-year-old lover Philippa Hart.
Hart gave birth to their first child together, Michael, in 2007 and now the pair has become parents to baby William.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Philippa gave birth at a London hospital without complications and little William is a beautiful, bouncing baby. It is a strange set of circumstances, worthy of a film script in itself. But Michael is very open with his wife and she accepts the second relationship, though there have been rows in the past." * CONNERY URGES BURNS PARTY GUESTS TO DANCE FOR SCOTLAND
SEAN CONNERY was the lord of the dance at a party to celebrate the 250th birthday of legendary Scottish poet ROBERT BURNS on Friday night (19Jun09).
The former James Bond star led the festivities at the Homecoming Party at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland by insisting everyone at the bash had to take part in a ceilidh (traditional Scottish dance) at the city's Assembly Rooms.
The proud Scot said, "I want everybody to get up and ceilidh, so nobody should think to take off. I'll be watching."

* MISTRY FILMED BREASTFEEDING WIFE AT WORLD TRADE CENTER A WEEK BEFORE 9/11
Anglo-Indian actor JIMI MISTRY has haunting memories of the 9/11 attack on New York because he filmed his wife breastfeeding the couple's two-month-old baby on the steps of the World Trade Center a week before the Twin Towers fell.
The Blood Diamond and RockNRolla star was in the Big Apple filming The Guru when he took a day off to show his wife and daughter the sights.
He tells WENN, "I remember very, very vividly it was a week to the day before 9/11 and me and my two-month-old daughter and my wife went downtown to get the Staten Island ferry for our final hurrah to New York.
"It was a dead quiet, a beautiful sunny day and I was videoing my wife breastfeeding on the steps of the World Trade Center, and walking to the ferry going, 'Wow, wow, wow' the whole time.
"I got on the plane the next day to London and then a week later I watched what happened on the television at my gym. I felt so privileged to have witnessed and lived in New York before the city changed."
But Mistry is so haunted by the memory of his last day in New York he hasn't been able to watch the footage he shot: "It's in my loft. I also have two tickets for the top of the World Trade Center, which we never got to use; they haven't been ripped.
"I haven't taken my daughter back to New York since then but I'm going to take her back one day." (KL/RXM&WN/LR)
