Jessica Simpson Let’s Her Wedding Date Slip

Jessica Simpson is set to marry fiance Eric Johnson this December.

The singer-and-actress - who gave birth to the couple's first daughter, Maxwell Drew, on May 1 - will tie the knot with the former NFL star on the Hawaiian island of Kauai on December 12 (12-12-12).

A source told Life & Style magazine: "Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends."

As well as planning the nuptials, Jessica - who was previously married to singer Nick Lachey - is also organizing Maxwell's baptism and is said to have hired celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss for both bashes.

The source added: "Jessica is busy planning two very important events - Maxwell's baptism and her wedding to Eric."
Jessica and Eric - who began dating in 2010 - had planned to get married last November but had to postpone the nuptials after discovering they were expecting Maxwell.

And no doubt Jessica, 31, will look her absolute best as the 'Fashion Star' mentor is "determined" and "excited" to lose her baby weight after signing a $4 million endorsement deal with Weight Watchers.

A confidant said: "As soon as Jessica heals from the C-section, she is extremely determined to get back in the gym and work out. She wants to show the world and is excited to do it."

The forever pregnant Jessica Simpson gave birth to Maxwell Drew Johnson, a baby girl weighing 9 pounds 13 ounces and measuring in at 21.75 inches early this morning!

Jessica released a statement on her official website: "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson.

"We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives."
