Charlie Sheen accused of death threat
Charlie Sheen has been accused of sending a death threat.
A man who claims to be a former associate of the 'Anger Management' star filed a police report in Los Angeles on October 18, alleging he is afraid the actor will murder him, based on a text message sent to a mutual friend.
The man said he had recently fallen out with Charlie and claims the actor later sent a text to a female pal that read: "I'll blow his head off with my Super 90."
The case is currently under investigation, and officers are planning to speak to the 47-year-old actor about the claims very soon.
While Charlie hasn't commented on the accusation, a friend has claimed the man is looking for money.
The source told gossip website TMZ.com: "The accuser is a dishonorably discharged military person with multiple probation violations who is trying to shake him down for money."
The news comes a few weeks after it was claimed Charlie - who has been in rehab five times and last hit the headlines for his extreme behavior in 2011 - has been spending up to $2,000 a day on cocaine over the past eight months.
A source said: "For at least the last eight months or so Charlie has been having a quarter to half an ounce of cocaine delivered to him every single day and was spending nearly $2,000 a day on drugs. Sometimes he'd even get two to three quarters of cocaine in one day."
Shocker: Charlie Sheen Doesn’t Believe In Rehab !
Charlie Sheen doesn't believe in rehab.
The 'Anger Management' actor had an erratic 2011 - confessing to "banging seven-gram rocks" of crack-cocaine - but even though he successfully completed home treatment for substances and alcohol, he said rehab is not for him.
Charlie, who is now drug free but still drinks alcohol, told TV show 'Good Morning America': "I don't believe in rehab anymore. It's not for me. It's not for everyone. It's not a one-size-fits-all and it didn't fit me."
Referring to US beer brand Miller, he added: "We live in a country where it's always Miller Time so what are you going to do? It's happy hour somewhere in the world."
Charlie does regret some of his outbursts, many of which were personal and directed at certain people, including 'Two and a Half Men' creator Chuck Lorre, and lost him his multi-million dollar job starring in the show.
Charlie's new series, 'Anger Management', sees him portray a therapist, and he drew on his own experience for the show.

He added: "The key for me would have been the advice I got when I was in anger management myself for a year and that is you can always leave the room.
"It is odd to look at some of the clips and some of the stuff and think, 'Wow that was me, that was me. Wow.'
"It's a crazy character study on some level that will hopefully be valuable in the future."
Charlie also said he is keen to concentrate on being a better father in future to his five children, daughters Cassandra, 27, from a relationship with Paula Profit; Sam, eight, and Lola, seven, from his marriage to Denise Richards, and three-year-old twin sons Bob and Max with his third wife, Brooke Mueller.
Charlie Sheen Smokes His Own Brand Of Marijuana
Charlie Sheen has smoked his own brand of marijuana.
The former 'Anger Management' star - who had a public meltdown in late 2010 and 2011 when his drug and alcohol use and penchant for prostitutes got out of control - was "honored" to discover there is a brand of weed named after him.
The actor decided to try Charlie Sheen OG himself and he insists it is a quality drug.
Charlie told Playboy magazine: "They now sell pot named after me in the dispensaries. And I'm not even a pot guy. I was so honored.
"The quality's fine. There's too much quality, if anything. I couldn't feel my hands after a while. I smoked some with a friend, and she said, 'What a trip. I'm with Charlie Sheen smoking Charlie Sheen.'
"I was like, 'How do you think I feel? I'm smoking myself!' "
Asked how he would react if he found one of his four younger children in possession of drugs when they were older, he joked: "Well, I'd want to know about the quality and how much the damn thing costs, you know, just to make sure they're not getting f***ing ripped off.
"And my next question would be, 'Is it Charlie Sheen OG?' "
Looking back on his 'lost year' Charlie now believes he was having a "psychotic break" which led to him publicly slamming his
'Two and a Half Men' bosses and coin phrases like "tiger blood", "winning" and "warlocks".
He explained: "I finally just said the things I had always been thinking. But in the middle of a psychotic break.
"It was surreal. And it never occurred to me where this was going to end up or how it was going to be perceived."
Charlie Sheen ‘Hurt Himself’ With Meltdown
Charlie Sheen admits he was "hurting himself" with his wild behavior.
The 46-year-old actor was fired from 'Two and a Half Men' last March over his erratic antics, which included partying with prostitutes and blasting the show's creator Chuck Lorre, and he subsequently hit headlines for his bizarre public appearances, including saying he was filled with "tigerblood" and was "winning" at life.
Despite his conduct, Charlie went on to be cast in forthcoming show 'Anger Management' and thinks it has been fairly easy for him to make a career comeback because his behavior wasn't "that bad".
He said: "It's not just about making comebacks, because you can attempt those, but you have to be allowed to be back in, also... and I think, on some level, I think the business needs a guy like me, to juxtapose everything else.
"I just don't feel like I've done anything that was that bad. I was hurting myself, mostly... So I wasn't begging to be let back into the party covered in somebody else's blood."
Despite his wild behavior, Charlie believes his fans have stuck by him because he is always willing to recognize his faults.
He told 'Access Hollywood': "I think they recognze a guy that has foundationally, a position of truth and integrity and honesty and yeah, can be a complete screw up, but acknowledges those blunders, errors, speed bumps... whatever you want to call them, and be forgiven, hopefully, and then move forward and learn from it.
"But at some point people are like, 'Dude you're learning from it? Enough lessons. We're bored.'"
At the height of his meltdown, Charlie embarked on a 21-date 'Violent Torpedo of Truth' tour of the US, which was widely regarded as a shambolic disaster, and the actor admits it was a mistake.
Asked what he has learned following his sacking from 'Two and a Half Men', he said: "I'll tell you what I learned, stick to what you know. Don't book a 21-city tour in 33 days with no act."

VIDEO: Jon Cryer Says Charlie Was Right -- 'I Am A Troll!'
Radar Online:
Jon Cryer finally answered his ex co-star Charlie Sheen's claims that he's a "troll" for not trying to contact him over the last few weeks, admitting on Thursday’s edition of Conan, "I am a troll."
"Those words were very painful to me for many reasons, not least of which is... I can't believe I'm saying this... but the fact is, I am a troll," said Cryer, who plays Alan Harper on the in-limbo CBS comedy, to a bevy of laughs from the audience.
"It's not something I like to talk about -- my parents don't even know; of course, I guess they do now."
"You have no idea how much time I've spent on electrolysis and hair dye and reconstructive surgery," Cryer said, as a picture of a troll doll flashed across the screen. "I guess I should be grateful for being outed like this."
“I'm finally free."
