Lindsay Lohan is allegedly romancing British actor Rhys Ifans.

The 'Mean Girls' actress is said to have fallen for the 37-year-old actor -
best known for his role as Hugh Grant's eccentric flatmate Spike in 'Notting
Hill' - after being introduced to him by her friend Kate Moss.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Falling for Rhys was really
the icing on the cake for Lindsay. She already loves hanging out with Kate
in London.

"One of the reasons Rhys appealed is that he's so quirky, bright and
refreshing."

The flame-haired actress is apparently so infatuated with her new love, who
is 27 years her senior, that she is planning to splash out on a London
property so she can be closer to him.



Lohan, 20, is also keen on buying a pad in the UK capital because she can
legally drink in Britain.

The source added: "Lindsay is branded a hellraiser in the US because the
legal drinking age is 21.

"So it's an amazing relief to be in England where things are more liberal.
She loves that it's different here."

Last week, Lohan confessed to having a crush on a mystery British man.
The 'Just My Luck' star revealed she was smitten with a famous Londoner, but
refused to reveal who.

She said: "There is a boy I like. I'm sure people will start writing about
him soon. He lives in London. It's so hard!"





She went on a dinner date on Saturday with her other man Harry Morton, owner of the Pink Taco restaurant chain.

The 'Mean Girls' star confessed if she had to pick between the young British princes, Harry and William, she would go for the more rebellious of the two.

She said: "Harry is definitely more my type. He seems more like trouble."

The flame-haired actress also revealed she is currently single, but is keeping her options open by dating a couple of lucky suitors.

She told Glamour magazine: "I'm dating but single - that's a good way of putting it. There's a few guys I'm dating at the moment.

"I'm get nervous about setting myself up for a fall though. When you don't expect anything something good comes out of it."

After seeing her parents go through a messy divorce, the actress claims she now tries to be more "easy going" about her relationships.

Lindsay Lohan's 20th birthday bash in Malibu almost spoiled a field day for Smashbox Cares, a charity that teaches autistic kids surfing. When the shuttle bus full of youngsters pulled up to the designated drop-off at Carbon Beach on Monday, it was blocked by Lohan's car. She had parked on Pacific Coast Highway in front of the Polaroid Beach House, where she spent the night after her birthday on Sunday, having misplaced her car keys. So the kids had to be dropped off farther up the busy road. But she made up for it by playing a three-hour deejay set - in a bikini - for the kids and pals like Jeremy Piven, Matthew Perry, Shannon Elizabeth and Woody Harrelson.
