James Franco’s Artwork Includes Spock And Kirk Love Scene

image

Spider-Man star James Franco is to show off his artistic talents with his debut solo exhibit in New York.

The actor, who took up painting as a high school student, will display his contemporary drawings, photography, short films and sculptures in the show, entitled The Dangerous Book Four Boys, at the Clocktower Gallery.

The exhibit, which opens on Wednesday June 23rd will delve into themes including boyhood and the "sexual confusion" of adolescence, according to curator Alanna Heiss.

One unusual work is said to explore a romantic encounter between Star Trek characters James T. Kirk and Spock.

One Big Fake Rose On Pamela Anderson’s Head

Pamela Anderson wore this gigantic red rose on the top of her head as she left the Les Ambassadeurs Club casino while holding hands with a mystery man in London, England on June 18, 2010.

This is actually quite a fashion jump for Pam. Maybe she felt inspired to make a bold artistic statement while gambling and chugging down cocktails. She couldn't bring her garden from the beach here with her so she decided to plant a nice big one on her head.

Tupac And Biggie Smalls Reunited

image

Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls (aka Notorious B.I.G.) were reunited – in wax – on Tupac’s birthday – Wednesday, June 16, at 10 a.m. at Madame Tussauds Washington D.C., 1001 F Street, NW Washington D.C. 20004. The figures are on loan from Madame Tussauds New York for three months. During this time, fans will have the opportunity to take photos and get up close and personal.

Tupac’s wax likeness was created from hundreds of photographs and precise measurements provided to Madame Tussauds by Tupac’s mother, Ms. Afeni Shakur. Tupac’s wax figure is shirtless – sporting a bandana, Emporio Armani underwear, saggy jeans and replicas of Tupac’s multiple tattoos. Each tattoo was in fact redrawn and individually hand-painted onto the wax figure.

Thanks Elyse Weissman
