Jack Nicholson: My ‘womanizing’ days are over
Jack Nicholson no longer has the energy to be a "womanizer".
The 75-year-old actor doesn't play down the fact he's bedded countless women in his life but he feels "uncomfortable" at being branded a "sex legend".
Jack - who has had high-profile relationships with actress Anjelica Huston, who he was with for 17 years, singer Michelle Phillips and model Janice Dickinson - said: "I am an extreme person. If someone says, 'Jack, you are a womanizer,' I don't deny it. But the life of a gigolo always ends badly.
"That is one of the reasons I feel uncomfortable about all that 'sex legend' stuff.
"I no longer have the energy to both work and fool around. So the last few movies I've done, I have hardly left the hotel at nights. It was completely different when we were making 'The Shining'.
"I was living in London, which is one of my favorite cities on Earth. The 17-week filming schedule at Pinewood Studios ended up as 47 weeks because the director, Stanley Kubrick, did so many takes for every single scene.
"I thought to myself, 'OK, I'm going to show all of these people. I am working with the toughest director in the business - and I am going to burn London to the ground every night with partying.' "
Jack also "regrets" being so angry throughout his life and admits he should have learned "long ago" how to calm down in situations.
The iconic Hollywood star believes he would have been happier if he'd learn to control his rage.
He added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: "Anger has always been a problem and every once in a while I just have to let it out. I always regret it later. After a couple of hours I calm down and think, 'What way could I have solved that problem other than blowing up?'
"I should have learned how to do that long ago and that would have made my life easier - with less apologizing."
Jack Nicholson Asked Jessica Simpson Out
Actor JACK NICHOLSON has proved he's still a ladies' man - by asking buxom pop star JESSICA SIMPSON on a date. The Shining star has been linked to a number of actresses and models over the years, including Lara Flynn Boyle, Anjelica Huston and Michelle Phillips, and has fathered six children with different women.
But the Hollywood Lothario hasn't slowed down since turning 73 last month - he's reportedly invited 29-year-old singer Simpson to join him for an evening together.
Simpson, who declined the offer, tells Britain's The Sun, "I have no idea how Jack got my number as we've never met. He asked if I wanted to go to his Beverly Hills house for dinner."

Jessica Simpson already has two men in her life - her father Joe and friend/ hair guru Ken Paves. She would have no time for Jack!

Ambien Almost Killed The First Joker Too
Jack Nicholson warned Heath Ledger not to take the sleeping pill Ambien. The 70-year-old Oscar-winning star - who played The Joker in the original
'Batman' film, the role Ledger plays in new movie 'The Dark Knight' - warned
the 28-year-old insomniac of the dangers of the prescription drug.

Nicholson said: "Heath's death is tragic news. I warned him about Ambien. I
took it once and somebody called me in the middle of the night and I woke up
in my car 50 yards from my house. I almost drove off a cliff. I didn't know
where I was.

"Ambien can get you. Not through excessive use, it's just some people react
more strongly than others."
Ledger - who confessed to suffering from insomnia after playing The Joker -
was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday morning (01/22/08) with
pills scattered around his naked body.
Six prescription drugs were found, including Ambien, anxiety medication
Valium, anti-depressant Zoloft, anxiety drug Xanax, highly addictive
sleeping pill Zoplicone and antihistamine Donormyl.
A rolled up $20 bill was also found but police have revealed it tested
negative for drug residue.
Nicholson was speaking at the London premiere of his new film 'The Bucket
List' last night (01/23/08), which co-stars Morgan Freeman.
Freeman, who stars alongside Ledger in 'The Dark Knight' as gadget man
Lucius Fox, also paid tribute to the late actor.
He said: "Heath's death shocked everybody. It's a tragic accident and a
terrible loss to the industry."

The Original Joker is Pissed Off
Jack Nicholson is 'furious' Heath Ledger is playing the Joker in the newBatman movie.
The 70-year-old actor, who starred as the villainous trickster in the 1989
film 'Batman', was livid he wasn't asked to reprise his role for 'The Dark
Knight'.
When asked how he felt about another actor playing the Joker, Nicholson
replied: "I'm furious. I'm furious. [He laughs.] They never asked me about a
sequel with the Joker. I know how to do that! Nobody ever asked me.
"It's like, in any area, you can't believe the reasons things do or don't
happen. Not asking me how to do the sequel is that kind of thing. Maybe it's
not a mistake. Maybe it was the right thing, but to be candid, I'm furious."
The Oscar-winning star also revealed he felt destined to play the Joker from
childhood when he fell in love with the DC comic book series.
He added to MTV: "Well, the Joker comes from my childhood. That's how I got
involved with it in the first place. It's a part I always thought I should
play."
Nicholson doubts he will want to see Ledger in the role when the movie is
released next summer.
He said: "I'm not inclined to watch the movie because of what I said. But if
it's a good movie, I'll catch up with it somewhere."

Jack rocks.
George Clooney Had Too Much Sex
George Clooney will never run for president - because he's had too much sex.The 'Ocean's Thirteen' star - who has dated a string of stunning women
including Teri Hatcher and Renée Zellweger - is convinced his racy past
would ruin his chances.
He revealed: "I couldn't run for office. I've slept with far too many women.
"I have a very keen interest in political issue, but if I decided to run for
office there would be a few juicy stories dragged back from the depths."
He added: "I've also done far too many drugs and been to too many wild
parties."
Clooney is not the only Hollywood actor who has ruled himself out of a race
for the White House.
Robin Williams, a reformed alcoholic and drug addict, also admits he
colourful past automatically rules him out.
He revealed at the New Yorker Festival: "I would never run for office -
because I make Bill Clinton look Amish."
However, Williams thinks Jack Nicholson should go into politics because he
would be happy to be open about his past.
Impersonating 'The Departed' star's voice, he said: "Jack would say, 'Sex
scandals? What do you want? I've done 'em all. Twice. And I have it on tape!'"

Lisa Rinna supports George for 2008.. if he runs.
Jack Nicholson To Demolish Marlon Brando’s Old Home
Jack Nicholson is planning to knock down Marlon Brando’s old house – it hasbeen reported.
The ‘Shining’ actor – who bought the late ‘Godfather’ star’s home shortly
after his death two years ago – is said to be planning to demolish it and
turn the site into a giant flowerbed.
Nicholson originally bought the building to respect Brando’s memory as one
of Hollywood’s greatest stars and to maintain it for the late actor’s
children.
The actor now apparently wants to plant frangipani flowers on the site of
the $6.5 million property on Los Angeles’ notorious Mulholland Drive.
Brando had named the house after frangipani yellow flowers, which serve as a
symbol for Buddhism.

According to British newspaper The Sunday Times, the ‘As Good as it Gets’
actor made the decision because restoring the “derelict” house would be too
expensive.
Nicholson will star in his first film for three years - ‘The Departed’ to be
released later this year.
Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film is a remake of Chinese hit movie and
also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Martin Sheen, Mark Wahlberg, Ray
Winstone and Alec Baldwin.
