Naomi Campbell is Too Good for Community Service
Naomi Campbell is refusing to do community service if found guilty over heralleged assault charges.
If found guilty the supermodel - who has been accused of hitting her former
assistant Ana Scolavino in the head with a jewel-encrusted mobile phone -
may have to follow in footsteps of 80s pop star Boy George and be ordered to
sweep the streets.
However, after taking in consideration the taunts Boy George received from
photographers while serving his punishment, Naomi, 36, is requesting she be
given a more "palatable" punishment, like charity work.
Her lawyer David Breitbart said: "I'm not willing to have that kind of
situation with regards to Naomi. If there's something palatable, we will
talk about it."
Prosecutors have revealed that discussions regarding a possible plea bargain
are still taking place.
Breitbart insists the supermodel would prefer to have a full trial but the
excessive media interest "might mitigate against that".
He said: "She believes God is on her side and is going to take care of her."

Naomi Campbell Arrested for Scratching
Naomi Campbell was arrested yesterday (10.25.06) for allegedly scratchingher drugs counselor's face.
The supermodel was arrested at her London home after her therapist walked
into a police station with her face covered in scratches and claimed the
36-year-old had assaulted her.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The marks were so red you could
tell the attack had only recently happened."
Naomi is renowned for her vicious temper. This claim is the ninth alleged
assault in eight years.
Police said: "A woman aged 36 was arrested after an alleged assault at an
address in Westminster at approximately 1.20pm.
"She was taken to a central London police station. Last night she was bailed
and will attend a station on a date in October."
Naomi should be a lion for Halloween or a vampire.
A spokesman for former drug-addict Naomi said: "We believe there has been a
misunderstanding. Once police have investigated we are sure this will be
resolved satisfactorily."
In 1998 Naomi's assistant sued the model for threatening to throw her from a
car. Naomi admitted the offence and underwent treatment for anger
management.
Since then she has been accused of assaulting several of her staff,
including claims she held one assistant hostage and beat her. In March this
year it was alleged she attacked a maid with her mobile phone, leaving her
covered in blood.
Naomi Campbell Has Major Tantrums
Naomi Campbell's former personal assistant has claimed the supermodel attacked her three times, spat in her face and chucked her passport in aswimming pool.
Amanda Brack, who is suing Campbell for assault, was just 19 when she
started the job a year ago and says she is now too scared to confront the
model in person over her behaviour.
Brack alleges the supermodel cornered her against a wall over problems with
flights and luggage in Mexico and then hit her with her Blackberry, a
handheld computer.
She said: "She got really, really upset and slammed her Blackberry in my
face."
Brack claims Campbell had to be pulled off her by her hairdresser.
The 20-year-old has also alleged that in her New York apartment the catwalk
queen threw a friend's phone at her, narrowly missing.
She claims the model spat in her face in Morocco and told her she had cut up
her assistant's passport.
Brack explained: "I eventually found it in the swimming pool."
Despite the terrible treatment she suffered at the hands of her former
employer, Brack still describes the job as a "fairytale" gone wrong.
Two other ex-employees of Campbell's have filed lawsuits against her.
Housekeeper Ana Scolavino claims the model attacked her with a phone and
maid Gaby Gibson also sued for assault in June this year.

Lindsay Lohan Too American for Louis Vuitton
Lindsay Lohan has been snubbed by Louis Vuitton bosses who have dropped plans to make her the new face of the label. Instead, the exclusive contract has been handed to Naomi Campbell who will now replace Leonardo DiCaprio's ex Gisele Bundchen instead of the 'Mean Girls' actress. The change was reportedly ordered by the label's designer Marc Jacobs, who is rumoured to be good friends with Lohan.A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper:
"Marc is great friends with Lindsay and she loves his clothes so it was no surprise rumours were flying that he was pushing his French bosses to get her to star in their campaign.
"But they thought Lindsay was too American for their global brand."
Campbell is said to be thrilled to be have been awarded the contract.
