Another Tour Bus Busted In Texas

Police found heroin and a gun on Nelly's tour bus on the night of October 10, 2012.

The rapper's vehicle was searched after a police dog detected the presence of drugs at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas and officers uncovered 36 small bags of heroin, totaling .64oz of the drug, over 10lbs of marijuana inside a large green bag and a loaded .45 caliber pistol.

According to gossip website TMZ, all seven people on the bus - including Nelly - were detained during the search but one passenger, a man named Brian Keith Jones, admitted the drugs and gun were his.

He was subsequently placed under arrest and Nelly and the remaining five people were let go.

Nelly told TMZ: "It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning."

"Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials did not press charges against anyone other than that individual."

Rapper Nelly has been targeted by burglars - his mansion in his St. Louis, Missouri hometown is at the centre of a police probe after a break-in on Friday morning.

An emergency call was made by a female in the residence, who saw a young man "fleeing" from the home, according to TMZ.com.

Authorities have assembled a squad of officers with sniffer dogs and a helicopter unit to patrol the area.

It is unknown if Nelly was home and if anything was taken from the residence at the time of the alleged incident.

Ashanti Waiting For a Ring From Nelly

Ashanti has hinted she wants to marry Nelly.

The 27-year-old singer refused to confirm she is dating the 33-year-old
rapper, but insists she spends a lot of time with him and would love to
settle down soon.

When asked if she was engaged to Nelly, Ashanti held up her left hand to
show a bare ring finger and laughed: "Oh no. Noooo! No engagement. But
definitely in the future. Ha ha!"

She added to People magazine: "Me and Nelly, we're good friends. We kick it
- hang out a lot. The industry is very hard, so it's good to have fun and
lighten it up."

Ashanti also revealed how the couple relax after a hard day's work.

She added: "The one thing we do a lot of lately is listen to my new album,
'The Declaration'."

It was reported earlier this year the couple had got engaged, but the story
was later denied.

This is the controversial viral video R&B singer Ashanti has been forced to scrap after it convinced alarmed fans a serial killer was on the loose. The scary hoax news report featuring chilling crime scene footage, bloody hand and footprints and messages written in blood proved too realistic for some. It was sent out worldwide with an anonymous email urging recipients: "Please contact me immediately. "Your life may be in danger." But some people did not appreciate it was part of an elaborate marketing campaign for Ashanti. It was inspired by her new single 'The Way That I Love You', in which she fantasies about killing a cheating lover.
