David Hasselhoff Hospitalized
DAVID HASSELHOFF was rushed to hospital on Sunday night September 20 suffering from alcohol poisoning, according to reports. But new reports suggest he just had an ear infection! The Baywatch star's 17-year-old daughter Hayley discovered her father "extremely drunk" and rang her mother Pamela, whose friend called the emergency services to Hasselhoff's home in Encino, California, according to TMZ.com.
Paramedics arrived at the family property and took the star to hospital.
Hasselhoff was hospitalized back in May 2009 with alleged alcohol poisoning, although his spokesperson downplayed the reports, insisting the incident was not serious.
The 57 year old's drink problem was exposed in 2007 when home video footage of the star in a drunken state leaked onto the internet. He was later checked into a rehabilitation facility in a bid to kick his alcohol demons.
UPDATE: TMZ
David Hasselhoff says he wasn't drunk yesterday -- he wasn't even drinking and yesterday's drama was all a misunderstanding over an ear problem.
As we first reported, paramedics went to Hasselhoff's home yesterday and took him to the hospital -- this, after his daughter Hayley called her mom and sounded an alarm. Pamela says she was told David had been drinking and one of her friends then called 911.
Hasselhoff's people tell us he was being treated by his family doctor for an ear infection and was taking Antivert. Hasselhoff was also taking Antabuse, which prevents alcoholics from drinking. The Hoff's camp says the combination of drugs messed up his equilibrium, he was feeling sick and wasn't able to reach his family doctor.
Team Hasselhoff says when paramedics arrived David decided to go to the hospital -- not because he was drinking but to help with the equilibrium problem.
Hasselhoff's people say he was released an hour after being treated at the hospital.
David Hasselhoff Stretches His Face Across the Ocean… Then The World!
He said: “I have had a globe made with my face stretched across the oceanand little versions of myself forming the countries.
“At the top, it says ‘savior’ in gold. But I was being ironic. Yes, I
played a role in the fall of the Berlin Wall and on American culture. But
not that big. It was a little joke. Although it’s interesting to see your
influence on the world translating into a globe.”
David has also been brought to life in new computer game ‘Pain’, which gives
players the opportunity to injure him.
The 56-year-old actor claims the game is as much of a joke as the globe, and
says he is not concerned that people might enjoy hitting and hurting him
while playing it.
He said: “The idea of 'hurting The Hoff' or 'hassling The Hoff' was just
hysterical to me. I don't know why, I think it was from growing up watching
the Three Stooges and the idea of hurting yourself was funny to me.”

David Knight Doesn’t Drink and Drive

Former Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff seen leaving an Irish bar after a night out (05/27/08).
I wonder how much booze David had before taking off in his car or did he get a ride? If he had KITT he could sleep and throw up at the wheel.
Maybe just one brewski for the road. Remember this drunk video?
David Hasselhoff Hospitalized 13 Times for Alcohol
David Hasselhoff has been hospitalized 13 times for alcohol poisoning, thestar's ex-wife claims.
Pamela Bach says the former 'Baywatch' actor's "extreme" problem with drink
gradually "eroded" their 16-year-marriage.
She told Us Weekly magazine: "He's been through three rehabs - in 2001,
2002, and 2004. He has been to the emergency room at least 12 to 13 times at
Cedars-Sinai, under aliases, for alcohol poisoning. His disease is very
extreme. Over time, the disease eroded the relationship."

Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman, claims Bach's allegations are "not
true".
Bach, 43, explained the first time she saw the 54-year-old actor drunk was
on their second date.
She said: "The first time I saw David wasted was our second date at his
house. I thought, 'Wow, he drank a little bit too much and too fast.'
"But he was my best friend, and I was lucky to marry the love of my life."
Bach also revealed she was alone in her bedroom watching TV when she saw the
now infamous video of a drunk Hasselhoff rolling around shirtless on a hotel.
The footage was filmed by the couple's 16-year-old daughter Taylor-Ann,
after her father asked her to video him when drunk so he could "see what he
is like".
When asked what she thought about the video, Bach replied: "So many
emotions. I'm thinking of protecting my family, and who released this? And
I'm thinking that Taylor-Ann is so calm, because she's been raised around
it."

Bach and Hasselhoff - who divorced in 2006 - are locked in a bitter custody
battle over their two children, Taylor-Ann and 14-year-old Hayley.
