Kate Beckinsale Hates Underwear

Kate Beckinsale prefers not to wear underwear.

The action star revealed that she feels more comfortable without briefs underneath her clothing on a day-to-day basis.

The 'Underworld' star admitted that she would only consider donning underpants if her outfit didn't consist of much material.

She confessed: "I don't wear knickers. I mean, unless I'm wearing a very short skirt, or maybe if I am going on a mountain expedition with extra layers. But no, I don't like them."

The 38-year-old screen star was doing promotion to mark the release of new film 'Total Recall' when she made her controversial confession.

She said she got to know Colin Farrell, her co-star in the sci-fi remake, during a grueling fight scene.

She explained to Maxim magazine: "It was my second day on set, and I've got my crotch in his face. That was an icebreaker."

'The King's Speech' star, added: "She basically chokes me with her vagina."

Kate - who has 13-year-old Lily with former partner Michael Sheen - is known for her action film roles but recently admitted she would love to be offered more romantic comedy parts in the future - if the scripts were funny enough.

Asked whether she would consider making a comeback to the genre, Kate said: "I hope so. I really like the idea of doing as many things as possible."

Kate Beckinsale Has A Fat Bottom, Butt Double Sent In

Kate Beckinsale wants a butt double for her new movie.

The 34-year-old actress – who famously had her breasts digitally enhanced on the promotional posters for her 2003 movie 'Underworld' – is so concerned her bottom is too big to bare on film that she has demanded a double for the nude scenes in ‘Whiteout’.

A source said: “Kate has a terrible self-image. She thinks she is fat and she is always complaining how certain outfits make her bottom look big. Of course, the reality is that she has the most amazing body.”

Producers on the set of ‘Whiteout’ have been forced to pay a nude stand-in a staggering $2,000-a-day to ensure Kate does not pull out of the film.

The movie - which is set to be released in September - tells the story of a US marshal, played by Kate, who tracks a killer through Antarctica.

Kate, who battled eating disorder anorexia nervosa when she was a teenager, recently spoke about her body image issues.

She said: “I don’t think you can aspire to the Hollywood 'look' and nor can I.”

Kate – who has a nine-year-old daughter Lily with ex-husband Michael Sheen – has only appeared nude in one film, the 1994 movie ‘Uncovered’, when she stripped off for three scenes.
