Britney Speas Is Fearless
Simon Cowell believes Britney Spears is a "fearless" 'X Factor' judge.
The 'Toxic' singer joined the judging panel of the show alongside Demi Lovato following Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger's exit after one series, and the music mogul claims Britney is excellent because she is not swayed by anyone else's opinion.
He said: "Britney is fearless. She has no qualms about turning down a contestant. To get a, 'No' out of Paula, as you know, was like getting blood out of a stone because she didn't want to be unpopular.
"Britney will turn people down even if 4,000 people are going crazy about the contestant."
Simon - who left the UK version of the show to set up a US adaptation - also praised Demi, who he finds often gangs up with Britney.
He added to RadarOnline.com: "When the two of them get together and me and L.A. Reid want someone to go through, these two, they gang up. And that's what happens when you put two girls together!"
The second season of the US 'X Factor' will premiere on September 12.
Britney Spears Has A New Best Friend
Britney Spears and Louis Walsh are "BBFs" since meeting on 'The X Factor' recently.
The judge got to swap from the UK to the US version of the talent show the last week standing in for head judge Simon Cowell - who was taken ill - and got on so well with new judge Britney they are now Best Friends Forever (BFFs).
Sinitta, a long time friend of both Louis and Simon, told Heatworld.com: "Louis is absolutely besotted with Britney. I called him the other day and it's all he talked about. They're new BFFs, and they're in contact with each other a lot!"
When they were recently interviewed, Louis admitted: "Britney and I are bonding."
The 30-year-old 'Toxic' singer added: "I have so much fun with him."
The other judges on the US panel also took to Louis, with Demi Lovato saying: "There is only one Simon...but Louis killed it."
Fourth judge, L.A. Reid, who butted heads with the Irishman over one contestant, held no grudges, saying: "I absolutely love working with Louis.I find him fascinatingly quick, thorough, and remarkably entertaining."
Although Louis was a hit on the show, it looks like his appearance will be a one off, as Simon is set to return at the San Francisco auditions tomorrow.
Britney Spears Causing X Factor Embarrassment
Britney Spears' 'X Factor' walkouts are "embarrassing" show bosses.
The 'Toxic' singer has stepped out of auditions twice and sources close to show supremo Simon Cowell say he is worried paying the pop star $15 million to take a role on the panel was not worth the trouble she is causing.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's embarrassing to have an empty seat on the panel in filming sessions as the footage is almost totally wasted. If a great singer appears and producers want to use the audition, you have to tell viewers why Britney wasn't there. That's not easy.
"Britney is getting $15 million to appear and it could be the biggest gamble Simon Cowell has ever made."
Britney's first walkout was in Austin, Texas and while she and the other judges, Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and stand-in Louis Walsh, all left their seats in protest at a rude contestant in Kansas at the weekend, Britney was the only panelist not to immediately return.
An insider revealed she went to her dressing room, leaving the others to finish the auditions without her.
The source added: "If she continues to behave like this it will get embarrassing."
Britney's manager Larry Rudolph denied any problems saying: "What is everyone's problem? Everything is fine. Britney loves being on 'X Factor'."
‘Tough’ X Factor Judge Britney Spears
Britney Spears is an "incredibly tough" judge on 'The X Factor'.
The 'Toxic' singer is part of the new line up on the US version of the singing talent show, and doesn't give budding singers an easy time if their renditions aren't up to scratch.
A source told People.com: "She's got a really good instinct, and when she loves something, she looks like she wants to dance on the desk. "When she doesn't like someone, she is incredibly tough."
Britney's harder side was revealed at the show's auditions in Kansas at the weekend, where she starred on the panel alongside Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Louis Walsh, who had stepped in from the UK version of the show to replace Simon Cowell, who was taken ill with bronchitis.
The source added Britney told the contestant: "You have to be great to be on this show, so I vote no."
Britney, 30, is not afraid to stick up for contestants she likes, either, and the show is said to be a good boost for her own confidence.
The source said: "She's really massively grown in confidence. She loves interesting and fun auditions and is prepared to stick her neck out and support someone no matter if some of the other judges disagree."
The next round of auditions for 'The X Factor' take place in San Francisco on June 16, and Simon is hoping to have recovered in time to take part.
IOW, Britney Spears Fiance Is Creepy
Britney Spears' fiancee Jason Trawick made a "romantic" video to tell her how proud he is of her US 'X Factor' debut.
Despite missing performances by four contestants while she had a break during her first day of auditions in Austin, Texas, last week, Jason, 40, revealed his pride in the star's performance.
In a video posted on his Viddy.com account, which shows him lying on the bed in their hotel room, he said: "Princess, we just completed our first weekend in Austin [Texas] on 'X Factor'. Just wanted to say I'm very proud of you and I love you so much. Congratulations."
He added he wanted Britney to hurry back to their bed before signing off by directing a kiss in the direction of the lens.
He said: "Now get back in here so we can go to sleep."
Britney responded to the video with a posting which read "awww love you too xoxo (sic)" on her Facebook page.
The 40-year-old talent agent - who proposed to 30-year-old Britney in December - used to be her manager but was pronounced her co-conservator in April along with Britney's father Jamie who has been in control since her public meltdown in 2008.
Show supremo Simon Cowell scoffed at claims Britney left the auditions without consent last week, and insisted she simply went to have a break which is allowed on the series.
Speaking to the official 'X Factor' USA website, he said: "There was no walking off. We have breaks every five or six songs. You can go have a cigarette, you can go to the loo.
"So as soon as anyone left their chairs, it was reported ... that someone had left the show - and they hadn't!"
Britney has joined the panel of the pop star search show along with Demi Lovato with the pair taking over from departed judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
Britney Spears Can Do What She Wants On The X Factor

SO what happened that made Britney Spears walked off the set at the first taping of X-Factor yesterday? Sources via TMZ claim Britney was "overwelmed" and needed to leave for a little break while the other judge's stayed on board for 4 contestants.. Folks at the taping say Brit got upset when the audience reacted negatively to some of her comments. Since the honchos at X factor really wanted Britney as a judge, she was able to negotiate certain terms that are "unheard of" in the biz.

One source revealed: "Simon is a smart and shrewd businessman who knew Britney could make his show and he was willing to give her just about anything to come on board -- and he did."
So in effect, the blond pop star is allowed to walk on and off the set when she needs to. And still get her $15 million payday.
