Flawless Drink for $70,000
Kylie Minogue was given a $70,000 cocktail by a mystery admirer to celebrateher BRIT Award win.
The 'Wow' singer - who was named Best International Female at Wednesday
night's prestigious bash (02.20.08) - was given the drink, called Flawless,
at London's Movida nightclub.
The buyer did not want to be named but a source said: "He is known in the
royal circles."
The expensive drink is made up of Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal
Rose champagne, brown sugar, Angostura bitters and pieces of 24-carat edible
gold leaf.
However, the main attraction is an 11-carat diamond ring in the bottom of
the glass.
Whenever the drink is sold, Movida order two security guards to surround the
drinker until they have finished.
Meanwhile Paris Hilton wants to find the man who sent her a $40,000 bottle of champagne.
The hotel heiress celebrating her 27th birthday with sister Nicky, David Katzenberg and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden at Las Vegas nightclub LAX last weekend when the magnum bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne arrived at their table.
A source close to the star told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Paris and Nicky still have no idea who sent the champagne, but would really like to track the person down to thank them."
The group celebrated Paris' birthday by downing shots of absinthe - which is famous for its hallucinogenic properties.
Insiders at Vegas' Palms Hotel and Casino say the group, which later included Tommy Lee, drank an entire bottle of Le Tourment Vert absinthe.
One insider said: "They seemed to not realize that absinthe could make them hallucinate and were knocking it back like it was vodka or water. They easily got through a whole bottle, and would have ordered another one if they hadn't had to leave."

Kylie Monogue Would Never Quit Pop Music
Kylie Minogue says her breast cancer battle has left her constantlyexhausted.
The Australian singer - who was diagnosed with the potentially killer
disease in May 2005, and underwent grueling chemotherapy treatment before
being given the all clear in 2006 - has to be "reasonable" with the amount
of work she takes on because her body can't cope with too hectic a schedule.
Kylie - whose new single '2 Hearts' is out this week followed by her latest
album 'X' - said: "I'm feeling good. I mean, obviously there's a lot going
on right now, and I kind of get home and fall onto the couch, but I have to
be a little reasonable with myself.
"It can be a struggle, but that's my path at the moment and it just makes me
all the more appreciative about being here, and doing a job I love, and
getting all the support I have had, and that I do have."
Kylie also revealed she never considered quitting pop music when she was
battling cancer, because she doesn't know how to do anything else.
She added in an interview with Britain's BBC Radio 1: "You do hear stories
about people who, after illness or any life changing event, decide to chuck
in their job, and I found it really reassuring that this is what I do.
"Let's face it, I'm totally unqualified to do anything else, and in some
respects I feel like I'm just starting to get into my stride with it. Then
again, I could change my mind in a month or so, but I doubt it!"
Kylie's first album had a lot of awesome pop hits.

Kylie Minogue Bounces Back
Kylie Minogue is hoping to headline Glastonbury music festival next summer. The pop princess had to pull out of last year's event after being diagnosed with breast cancer, but is determined to be well enough to play there in 2007.
Event organiser, Michael Eavis, is quoted on Britain's BBC website as saying: "Kylie is coming back hopefully. Her people are quite confident. She really wants to do it."
He added: "Kylie doesn't fit the Glastonbury festival image with 'Neighbours' and all that razzmatazz, but her shows are so theatrical they are almost like a circus in a way, which really fits in with Glastonbury." Meanwhile, Kylie's recovery is going so well that her hair is beginning to grow back. The beautiful singer lost her locks after having chemotherapy treatment for the disease last year, and often covered her baldness with headscarves.
But the 37-year-old has now posed for a set of shots - taken by lover Olivier Martinez - showing off her new short, straight hair. The photographs, which have been posted on website www.kylie.com, were taken as the star enjoyed a holiday in the Italian fishing village of Portofino.
