Paris Hilton Gets Paid to Wave

Paris Hilton was paid $200,000 for turning up to a charity event. The hotel heiress collected the huge fee for simply showing her face and waving to fans in Cannes on Saturday (05.20.06).

The 'House Of wax' star is quoted in America's New York Post newspaper as saying: "All I had to do was wave like the Queen of England."

It was reported that the socialite was paid a staggering $1million for a similar event in Vienna a few weeks ago. However, Hilton is said to be fuming that she wasn't invited to the Vanity Fair Party at Cannes' Hotel du Cap at the weekend.
