Courtney Love Owes Over $350,000 On Her Credit Card
American Express filed a lawsuit against the former Hole singer in the USDistrict Court in Los Angeles yesterday (05.27.09), alleging she "failed and
refused to make payments".
Legal papers claim the rocker owes $352,059.67 in unpaid charges and fees on
her Amex Gold Card – which has since been suspended by the company.
It's not the first time Courtney – who was married to late Nirvana frontman
Kurt Cobain – has been sued.
Fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir, who owns the Boudoir Queen clothing line,
accused Courtney of libel, breach of contract, invasion of privacy and
emotional distress in March.
Dawn claimed Courtney had threatened her life, "terrorised" her and
attempted to destroy her reputation.
Last year, business management and accounting firm London and Co. also took
Courtney to court for allegedly failing to pay them a percentage of her
profits when she sold a portion of Nirvana's publishing rights for $19.5
million.
The singer recently launched a lawsuit of her own, accusing fraudsters of
buying a $290 million office block using her and Kurt Cobain's identities.
The ex-Hole singer - who claimed last month she had been robbed of $45
million cash and $705 million worth of other assets which she was left when
the Nirvana star committed suicide in 1994 – has launched a civil lawsuit
next week to start reclaiming the $750 million extorted by those entrusted
to look after the estate.
Courtney Love Lashes Out Against Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore
Courtney Love wants to punch Ryan Adams. The former Hole singer would not hesitate to attack the 'New York, New York'
singer if she ever met him in the street.
Courtney wrote on her MySpace blog: "People i would hit if i saw them: Ryan
Adams (sic)."
The 44-year-old singer also lashes out at Ryan' new wife Mandy Moore - who
married the alternative musician in March - in the confusing rant, saying
she does not understand how Mandy can bear to be intimate with him.

She wrote: "Christ ugh igh ugh Mandy Moore ick the thoufghg of her sticking
her toungue downthat filthy hatch...i might as well go watch 'Hostelle' ill
feel better), ick, dirty sheets, ick no toothbrush, smelly ass, ick i LOATHE
that guy (sic)."
This is not the first time Courtney has made disparaging remarks about Ryan
on her blog.
Last year, she accused him of stealing $858,000 from her daughter Frances
Bean - who was left the money when her father, Courtney's husband Nirvana
star Kurt Cobain, committed suicide in 1994 - to make his 2003 album 'Rock n
Roll'.
She wrote at the time: "does that makje youf eel like a big man ? stealing
from a suicide? A MARTYRED HERO? ... as God Is My Witness Ryan you will pay
back every f***ing penny of this. 858,000 dollars for Rock n Roll ? wow you
were living large- most people reading this dont even know what record or
even artist im referring to , as your just this cult americana wanna be
dylan thing.
"your ENTIRE album and meals and drugs and Hotels and outboard gear and
wasted fabullous guitars STRAIGHT OUT OF FRANCES"S TRUST FUND (sic)."
Thieves Steal Kurt Cobain’s Money and Stuff Worth $750 million
Courtney Love claims Kurt Cobain's $750 million legacy has been stolen. The singer says the staggering $45 million cash and $705
million worth of other assets - which she was left when the Nirvana star
committed suicide in 1994 - has gone missing after thieves set up bank
accounts and made property deals in her name.

Courtney's lawyer Rhonda Holmes said: "I have never seen such greed and
moral turpitude.
"We will be filing civil cases within the next 30 days. There are many, many
millions missing. We've only been able to track down $30 million, but there
is more. And then there is the real estate.
"There is now a web of homes which were bought, flipped and used to launder
money - up to $500 million worth. Any of the property we can get back will
be donated to people who have lost their homes in foreclosures."
According to the lawyer, Courtney - who has a 16-year-old daughter Frances
Bean with the late rocker - only noticed the missing money "when there
wasn't any left" and blames those entrusted with looking after Kurt's estate
for "shamelessly looting it".
Holmes added: "Courtney noticed the money was gone when there wasn't any
left. It's no secret she struggled with substance-abuse issues, but in the
last year she's taken a more serious approach to sobriety and started
noticing things were wrong. She hired private investigators, accountants and
me.
"We are also working with local and federal authorities. When Mr. Cobain
died in 1994, he left his enormously wealthy estate behind for the benefit
of his mother, two sisters, a brother, his wife and young daughter. Many of
those involved with the estate's coffers mismanaged, stole and outright
looted it shamelessly."
Last March, Courtney claimed she was a victim of identity fraud, but police
were said to be skeptical about her allegations.
In an online rant in May, she alleged her attorney and accountant had been
using her name to sign fake checks and appealed for the help of a lawyer.
WTF. How does this happen really.
