Tom Cruise Hopes For Mission Possible

Tom Cruise will be at the Tribeca Rooftop tonight to raise money for his Church of Scientology program that has helped firefighters and rescue workers recover from toxic smoke on 9/11. Tickets for the event complete with dancing and a picture with the actor start at $6,250.

Cruise, co-founder of New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project praised his program's success:

"More than 500 individuals have recovered health and job fitness through this project — but for thousands more, the passage of time is only bringing more suffering. The strain on their lives, their families and their careers is tremendous."

Meanwhile Doctors say this "purification rundown" formulated by Scientology's founder L. Ron Hubbard is nothing but a bunch of crock that consists of sauna sweating, ingestion of coooking oil, and large doses of niacin.

The program strongly prohibits prescription medications and inhalers.

Paris Hilton Won’t Give Up On Nicole Richie

Paris Hilton has reportedly extended an olive branch to former best friend
Nicole Richie - saying she wants to be pals again.

The sexy socialite got on stage at a friend's Christmas party and sent a
message to Nicole - who she has been feuding with for months.

The stunning blonde says she sympathises with Nicole following her split
from fiancé Adam Goldstein last week - and wants to patch up their troubled
relationship.

Paris - who recently split from fiancé Paris Latsis - reportedly said:
"I'm really sorry to hear about Nic's engagement. I went through the same thing.

"With Christmas coming up, I realise I really miss her and want to get in
touch again."

The friends mysteriously fell out in January, with hotel heiress Paris later
declaring: "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. I
will not go into the details of what happened. All I will say is that Nicole
knows what she did and that's all I am ever going to say about it."

It was rumoured Richie, daughter of soul star Lionel Richie, had infuriated
her pal by showing her infamous sex tape, 'One Night In Paris', to friends
at a party.

However, Richie later rubbished the claims, insisting the pair just grew
apart.

Liv Tyler Finds Plastic Surgery Creepy

Liv Tyler has vowed never to have plastic surgery - because it makes people
look "creepy".

The stunning actress says she takes care of her skin because she's
determined she'll never go under the knife to preserve her looks.

She revealed: "I don't want to ever have cosmetic surgery, so I want to do
the best I can with what I have.

"I hate that look where people's faces have just changed. It's so creepy."

Liv, the daughter of Aerosmith rocker Steve Tyler, also revealed she's not
the soft soul people see her as - and is actually a "tough cookie".

The brunette beauty, whose mother is famous rock groupie Bebe Buell, says
she developed a thick skin to cope with ups and downs in her turbulent
childhood.

She told Britain's Grazia magazine "I've never been fragile. I had these
really hard things to deal with, and I did. I'm one tough cookie.

"I guess I could have gone off the rails but, as a child, I watched my
mother suffering so much for what she went through with men and all those
other things. I decided then I didn't want to go through that."
