Tom Cruise Didn’t Die
TOM CRUISE has laughed off false reports he died in a plumbing accident, assuring fans he's alive and well.Rumours began spreading across the internet on Friday May 28 claiming the Mission: Impossible star had passed away following a bizarre plumbing mishap while in New Zealand.
But the actor is taking the hoax in good humour, admitting he was amused by the odd manner in which he was 'killed'.
When asked if he could confirm if he was OK, he joked to MTV.com, "No, I'm not. I'm a hologram!" before adding, "I'm really alive. Did the internet get it wrong again? You can send the message out (I am still alive)."
Online pranksters have targeted a number of stars in false death stories, including Britney Spears, Jeff Goldblum and Kanye West.
On Friday Tom Cruise joined the Black Eyed Peas on stage while they performed live during their 'The E.N.D. World Tour' at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

On daughter Suri:
"It's come full circle. Now I'll put Suri on a swing and tell her stories when I'm working on a script. I'll start with the beginning of the movie and take her through the story beat by beat. Of course, I make it age-appropriate. She's four years old. But she asks all the right questions: Why does that happen? Those are the bad guys? You're the good guy, right?"
