Nick Lachey Wouldn’t Hire a Mexican Hooker

Nick Lachey has dismissed the scandal surrounding photographs of his hot-tub
frolics with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.

The former 'Newlyweds' star says he would understand the outrage if he was
caught with a prostitute, but as he was with his own girlfriend he can't
understand the fuss.

Lachey told OK! magazine: "Where's the scandal?

"I was in Mexico with my girlfriend celebrating our first anniversary
together on a private vacation. It's not like I was caught with a Mexican
hooker. We've all gone out and had a few too many and done something stupid.
We've all made mistakes."

Despite laughing off the incident, the singer has still taken legal steps to
prevent the explicit photographs from being released.

Lachey and Minnillo have hired top lawyer Marty Singer to prevent images of
them naked in a Mexican hot tub from being seen.

Steamy pictures of the couple in a Jacuzzi at a private Mexican resort were
published in Life and Style Weekly magazine last week.

However, other unseen photographs reportedly show Lachey and Minnillo making
love - and these are the photographs the couple are determined to keep under
wraps.

A source said: "The pictures are Paris Hilton sex tape level."

Singer has warned media outlets will face a lawsuit if they publish the
images.

He said: "The photographer was outrageous and malicious. The photos that
were taken of our clients by a Mexican photographer violated Mexican law and
were a clear invasion of privacy, and we have threatened to take legal
action against third parties who publish the photos."

Nick Lachey is not ready to marry Vanessa Minnillo.

The singer - whose divorce from Jessica Simpson was finalized last year -
has slammed rumours he is planning to propose to MTV presenter Vanessa.

Nick told Access Hollywood: "The four-letter word that starts with an 'r' -
we are not dealing with that one yet."

It was reported in December that Nick had phoned his ex-wife and told her he
was marrying again.

The 33-year-old was said to have spent 40 minutes explaining his intentions
to Jessica, who reportedly struggled to contain her emotions.

However, it now seems Nick and Vanessa - who were reported to be desperate
to marry before the end of 2007 - have no plans to take the next big step in
their relationship and are content to carry on as they are.

Nick said: "We are very happy. I have no complaints. We are not dealing with
marriage yet."

Since Nick and Jessica split, the 'Dukes of Hazzard' actress has been linked
to singer John Mayer - and although they were seen together in New York over
Christmas, Jessica continues to insist she is single.

Nick seems happier these days.

Nick Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo make no mistake about their romance as they share a New Year's kiss.

Meanwhile Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have settled the division of their assets.

The former 'Newlyweds' stars got divorced in June last year but it has now
been agreed how much money each is entitled to according to official court
documents.

Details of the settlement were not disclosed by the court and Jessica and
Nick have agreed not to discuss each other's financial assets but it was
reported that 'The Dukes of Hazzard' actress earned considerably more money
than her singer husband during their three year marriage.

The couple wed on October 26 2002 and starred together in hit MTV reality
show 'Newlyweds', which followed the pair as they adjusted to married life.

They filed for divorce in December 2005 and became legally separated six
months later.

Nick has been dating TV presenter Vanessa Minnillo for eight months, while
Jessica has been linked to Grammy award-winning singer John Mayer.

Nick Lachey Likes Outdoor Sex

Nick Lachey wants to make a sex video.

The singer - who is now dating TV presenter Vanessa Minnillo after divorcing Jessica Simpson - is obsessed with the idea of making an X-rated home movie, but is afraid it would get leaked to the public like so many other celebrity sex tapes.

He told Britain's Star magazine: "I think you're asking for trouble there. I'm not saying I'd never do it, I just haven't done it. If I did, it would be in a very, very safe place."

Apart from his interest in homemade pornography, Nick also enjoys outdoor sex.

The pop heartthrob admits he is a huge fan of al fresco lovemaking because he gets turned on by the thought of getting caught.

He said: "The strangest place I have ever had sex is the airport bathroom."

Other celebrities to star in their own homemade sex tapes, include Pamela Anderson, Colin Farrell and Paris Hilton.

Former 'Baywatch' star Pammy has appeared in two X-rated movies, one with ex-husband Tommy Lee, famously shot on their honeymoon, and another with former Poison rocker Bret Michaels.

Paris became an unwitting porn star after her ex-boyfriend Rick Soloman released a compilation of their romps on a hardcore DVD entitled 'One Night In Paris'.

Vanessa Minnillo has trouble keeping her hands off Nick Lachey at Manhattan's Atlantic Grill restaurant yesterday afternoon. She spent almost 30 seconds caressing and scratching his chin, although he holds back from kissing her. He was definately reluctant because of the paparazzi, but he managed to touch her face every so gently.

Nick Lachey has been caught canoodling with new love Vanessa Minnillo.

The stunning MTV host reportedly treated the pop singer to a lap dance and
kissed and held hands with him as they partied at New York's lavish Butter
club on Monday night (07.24.06).

Later in the evening, Minnillo danced on banquets and sat on Lachey's lap
while serenading him with Justin Timberlake's new song 'SexyBack'.

Lachey then left her to carry one dancing while he drank shots with former
'That 70s Show' star Wilmer Valderrama.

The seemingly smitten couple left hand in hand together at around 3am.

Meanwhile, Lachey's ex-wife, Jessica Simpson, narrowly avoided an awkward
meeting with Minnillo last week.

The blonde star appeared on MTV's 'Total Request Live' show - which is
co-presented by Minnillo - to unveil her new music video 'A Public Affair'.

Luckily for Jessica, Minnillo was not available to host the program, so
the actress was asked to step into her shoes and read from the autocue.
However, Jessica was so nervous about the premiere of her new promo she
stuttered through her lines.
