Lori Petty Arrested For DUI
Actress Lori Petty has been arrested after she reportedly hit a skateboarder with her car on Saturday night (30May09).The Tank Girl star was driving in the Venice area of California when she collided with the boarder, according to TMZ.com.
Petty and the skateboarder were allegedly treated for minor injuries at the scene, but didn't require hospital treatment.
The actress was booked for driving under the influence and is being held on $100,000 (£66,000) bail. (WENN/MJ/WNWCZM/ZN)
Mel Gibson’s Girlfriend Sues Over Website
Mel Gibson's pregnant girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is suing a group of internet entrepreneurs who snapped up her domain name.The Russian singer is accusing bosses at web hosting company DreamHost.com of 'cybersquatting' on the site OksanaGrigorieva.com - and making it look like her official website.
Her lawsuit was filed this week (ends28May09) in Los Angeles.

Keanu Reeves Slams Child Support Lawsuit
Keanu Reeves has blasted a Canadian woman who alleges he fathered her four children, insisting he has no idea who she is.Karen Sala, 46, claims she's childhood friends with the Speed star and that he is the father of her grown-up children.
She is taking legal action against the actor, demanding Reeves undergoes a DNA test to prove he's her kids' dad in a bizarre bid to land $3 million (£2 million) a month in spousal support and another $150,000 (£100,000) in child support.

Sala, who is representing herself in the lawsuit, further alleges she has been trying to settle the matter "privately" with Reeves over the years.
But Reeves, 44, has slammed the accusations.
His spokesperson says, "Karen Sala's allegations are completely false and absurd. Mr. Reeves has no knowledge of who she is."
And the actor's business manager has warned media outlets against giving more coverage to Sala's crazy claims, adding, "Before you disparage my client and lend validity to this, there's clearly something wrong with someone who claims child support after all the kids have grown. I'm just pointing that out."

Phil Spector Sentenced To 19 Years Behind Bars
Music producer Phil Spector has been sentenced to 19 years to life in prison for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.Spector was convicted of killing the actress last month (Apr09).
Clarkson was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in the foyer of the music mogul's Alhambra, California mansion in 2003.

Ozzy Osbourne Sues Iommi Over Black Sabbath Trademark
Ozzy Osbourne is suing his Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi in a dispute over ownership of the group's name.The rocker has filed a lawsuit in a federal court in Manhattan, New York, accusing guitarist Iommi of falsely proclaiming to be the sole owner of the Black Sabbath moniker after he filed documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Osbourne alleges he is largely responsible for catapulting the heavy metal stars to fame in the 1970s and that his "signature lead vocals" resulted in the band's "extraordinary success".
The singer also points out the dip in popularity of Black Sabbath between 1980 and 1996, when he was dropped from its line-up, as evidence of how instrumental he is to the band's legacy.
According to the New York Post, Osbourne is seeking a 50 per cent interest in the Black Sabbath trademark and a cut of the profits Iommi has garnered from the use of the name. (WENN/MT/PYN/IG)
Tom Sizemore Arrested On Outstanding Warrant
Troubled actor Tom Sizemore has been arrested in Los Angeles on an outstanding warrant for drug charges.The Saving Private Ryan star was taken into custody shortly after midnight on Thursday morning (28May09) after police were called to investigate a report of domestic violence in Hollywood.
When authorities arrived at the scene, Sizemore was found in the area with a pal and after being quizzed by cops, they discovered there was a $25,000 (£16,600) warrant out for the fallen star's arrest.
According to TMZ.com, a police search found Sizemore and his friend in possession of narcotics - and they were subsequently arrested and booked for the crime.
Sizemore, 44, has a long police record; in 2003 he was convicted of assaulting his then girlfriend, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss. Two years later he was jailed for failing drug tests while on probation; and in May 2007 he was arrested for possession of drugs at a California hotel.
More recently, he was caught up in a police probe amid bizarre allegations he stole pens and cellphones from an L.A. store in March (09). (WENN/MT/WNWCZM/IG)
