Messed Up ScarFace

Amy Winehouse could be left permanently scarred if she doesn’t quit drugs.

The troubled singer – who has been pictured in recent weeks with scabs all over her face initially thought to be caused by the skin infection impetigo – has been warned by doctors if she doesn’t get clean there will be irreversible damage caused to her skin.

As she was allegedly taking cocaine at a party at her Camden home, in London, Amy was reportedly overheard saying: “I've been told I'll lose my looks over this - but I can't give it up! I'm told my scars might never heal. My dermatologist says it's a result of the drugs and it could spread to other parts of my body if I don't quit.”

The ‘Back to Black’ star is terrified her husband Blake Fielder-Civil – who is currently on remand at London's Pentonville Prison awaiting trial on charges of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice – will no longer find her attractive if she is left covered in scars.

She said: “What will I do if I lose my looks? Blake will never love me like that."

As well as allegedly taking cocaine, Amy – who entered rehab in January to seek help for drug addiction – was seen drinking heavily throughout the evening.

Not Amy’s Fault

Amy Winehouse's father believes his extra-marital affair ruined her
childhood.

Mitch Winehouse admits he made his daughter's early life difficult by
cheating on her mother Janis for eight years, before leaving the family home
to live with his mistress Jane in 1993.

He said: "The affair was in the open and the children used to call Jane
'Daddy's work wife'. I did not leave home until Amy was ten so the situation
occurred for eight or nine years before I left home. It was difficult
.

"I didn't realize what effect my behavior had on her until I heard her song
'What Is It About Men', with the line 'All the s**t my mother went through',
which obviously referred to me
."

However, Mitch - who married Jane in 1996 - insists he is not to blame for
his daughter's current battle with drink and drugs, and even thinks his
affair inspired her talent.

He revealed to BBC TV show 'One Life: Rock Star Parents': "She couldn't
articulate what was wrong in words but she certainly did with her music
.

"What she is going through at the moment is terrible. She could die
horribly, but that cannot happen
.

"I think she would have found her way here one way or another without any
help from me though
.

"It is easy for me to say it is my fault, and that had I been a better
parent this would not have happened. But who knows whether it would or not?
"

Amy, 24, entered a London rehab clinic in January after footage of her
smoking what appeared to be crack cocaine was released. She left just two
weeks later to perform for the Grammy's via a live satellite link-up.

The program airs in the UK next Tuesday (03.18.08).

Snorting Vodka

Amy Winehouse's latest party trick is snorting vodka.

The troubled singer - who checked out of a London rehab clinic last month -
shocked onlookers when she nasally inhaled the potent spirit through a straw
while partying with friends including Kelly Osbourne, Mark Ronson and
Kimberly Stewart at London's Bungalow 8 club on Wednesday (03.05.08).

A source said: "Somebody had brought over 20 shots to Amy's table and she
decided to show off her new party trick
.

"She necked the top of the shot and lit the rest with a lighter. Then she
grabbed a straw and sucked what was left up her nose
.

"Amy threw back her head and reeled in shock and everyone around her looked
stunned
."

Doctors have warned Amy's party trick, known as a Gas Chamber, could be
potentially lethal as alcohol is absorbed directly into the bloodstream.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old 'Rehab' star flew into a rage yesterday
(03.06.08) when she spotted an unauthorized biography about her on sale at
her local London garage.

Amy - who popped into the shop to pick up some sweets on her way home after
partying till 5am - demanded the $24 book, titled 'Amy, Amy, Amy: The Amy
Winehouse Story', be taken off the shelves immediately.

The book, by Nick Johnstone, details Amy's rise to fame her battle with
drink and drugs and the arrest of her husband Blake Fielder Civil, who is
currently awaiting trial at London's Pentonville Prison.

Amy Winehouse Has Bacterial Skin Infection

Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with impetigo after suffering from a
painful lump on her face.

The troubled singer - who tried to hide her swollen, bruised left cheek as
she moved into her new east London home last week - discovered she had the
contagious skin infection during an emergency doctor's appointment.

Amy's spokesman confirmed at the weekend: "Amy has been diagnosed with
impetigo which she has been told can be highly contagious. Because of that
she has been put on antibiotics and may have to stay home alone for the next
few days
."

Impetigo is a bacterial skin infection that causes blistering and an itchy
rash.

Meanwhile, Amy is reportedly being ordered back to rehab by her record
bosses today (03.03.08).

Amy Winehouse Back To Her Drug Cocktail

image

Amy Winehouse is on the brink of an emotional breakdown, according to
friends.

The troubled singer has allegedly been binging on a cocktail of substances,
including cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis and alcohol, to cope with being
separated from imprisoned husband Blake Fielder-Civil, and the emotional
turmoil in her life.

Pals now fear for Amy's sanity, and are terrified she could seriously harm
herself after she deliberately burnt her hand with a lighter last week,
while screaming: "My life is a shell of what it was. It's like the whole
world is now stillborn
."

A source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "We were just sat around a
table when she held the lighter over her hand and let the flame scar her
.
Amy has been up and down like she has never been before. One minute she'll
be fine, the next she'll be in a heap on the floor screaming she can't go
on
."

It has also been claimed the 24-year-old star - who left a London rehab
clinic earlier this month - got one of her friends to smuggle drugs into the
facility on her first night.

A pal explained: "On the first night she begged a friend to take her in some
drugs. But after that she did not take anything for a week to 10 days. But
the whole thing was just about getting her to the Grammys
."

Meanwhile, Amy is at the center of a TV bidding war.

The 'Back to Black' singer is in the middle of a three-way battle between US
chat show host Larry King, Oprah Winfrey and British news legend Sir Trevor
McDonald - who wants her for a one-off special.

A source said: "King is leading the race to get an interview with Amy on his
show, he's very confident he can beat Oprah
."
