Kim Kardashian’s Song Jam (Turn It Up): KISS FM WIth Ryan Seacrest’s World Premiere

Ryan Seacrest was joined by Kim Kardashian and sister Kourtney Kardashian to premiere Kim's new single “Jam” Wednesday morning on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest”.

Kim explains how she got the opportunity to work with The-Dream as “my good friend Ciara was like ‘The-Dream wants your number’ and i was like ‘Please, I’m sure he does’ and she said ‘no seriously he really wants to do a song with you’.” Adding, “[The-Dream said] let’s just have fun. Let’s donate the proceeds, let’s just have fun with it don’t take yourself seriously, try something you’ve never done before.”

Kim is donating all proceeds from the song to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Click here to donate to the hospital directly.

And although we’ll be able to watch Kim recording the song in studio on “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” Kim revealed the experience of recording a single was nerve racking, explaining when she first got in the studio she felt “first, give me a drink!” Further revealing, “I walked out at one point…cause I was scared!”

Well, this could have been so much better, but it's Kim and she's willing to try anything once.

Kim Kardashian Cares About Teen Pregnancy

In a post titled To All the Young Girls Out There, Kim Kardashian felt a flicker of love in her heart and wrote this compassionate entry on her official blog:

While I was at the Today Show this morning I saw a story about a Memphis high school where 90 young female students were either pregnant or have given birth this year! I just couldn’t believe this and I find it so sad and disturbing. It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls. The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines, and have been become almost like celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize!

When I think back to when I was 16, there is no way I would even have considered having a baby. That thought wouldn’t even have entered my head. Having a baby is one one of the biggest, and most life-changing decisions a person can make and while I’m not saying that no teen is in the position to raise a child, having a baby so young shouldn’t be seen as the trendy thing to do.

Girls, please, think very carefully before you make these kind of decisions. Talk to your family, friends, teachers, and most of all, be careful.
