Lady GaGa’s New York Wax Figure!

It's Lady GaGa Day! Madame Tussauds has finally released all eight wax figures! GaGa's New York wax figure was unveiled today in New York City (12/09/10). Which one is your favorite?

The figures -- worth a total of $2.4 million -- will be displayed at Madame Tussauds museums in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, London (pic), Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

"Lady in Lace" - The singer wore an Alex Noble lace body stocking and Philip Tracey face mask and donned a Marie Antoinette style hairstyle at the 2010 Brit Awards in February.

"Telephone" - Lady Gaga wore a Phillip Tracey telephone hat paired with a black Armani coat, flared trousers and towering heels on the UK talk show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in March 2010.



"Harlequin"- Lady Gaga wore a Black Marjan Pejoski bodysuit with oversized black neck fuff and had a sleek, super straight platinum hairstyle when she visited the Grand Intercontinental Hotel Seoul in South Korea in 2009.



"Kinky Boots" - The singer wore a black, Bruno Pieters leather bodysuit, a black lace bra, a "disc" hat and thigh-high black boots to the Hakkasan restaurant in London in April 2009.

"Mini Mouse" - Lady Gaga once wore an one-shoulder black latex bodysuit and donned long, straight hair, adorned with "Minnie Mouse"-style buns to the BBC Radio 1 studios in London.

"Hair Hat" - Lady Gaga wore a sunhat made out of her blonde hair along with a black, see-through net dress at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January.

"Wired 'wing' dress with lightning 'eye'" - One of Lady Gaga's famous outfits consists of a short, black Orschel-Read strapless dress with wired, thigh-high patent boots and a black lightning bolt painted over one eye.

"Big Hair" - Lady Gaga donned a towering purple hair piece atop waist-length platinum hair, while wearing a a nude Maison Martin Margiela bodysuit, white blazer and huge platforms outside the Phoenix Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark in July 2009.

David Blaine Breaks Record for Holding Breath Underwater

David Blaine has broken the world record for holding your breath – live on
TV.

The American illusionist didn’t breathe for an astonishing 17 minutes and
four seconds on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday (04/30/08).



Before undertaking the dangerous feat, performed in a water tank, Blaine
breathed pure oxygen to prepare, which is allowed under Guinness World
Records rules.

Afterwards, he said it was a “lifelong dream” to break the record.

He said: “I really thought I was not going to make it.

“At minute 12 I felt the pain coming, and by minute 14 it was overwhelming.



This was a whole other level of pain. I still feel as if somebody hit me in
the stomach with the hardest punch they could.”

The previous record of 16 minutes and 32 seconds was set in February.

Two years ago, Blaine went into convulsions and had to be pulled from a
water tank during a similar stunt.

David Blaine started his one week stunt in a water-filled sphere at Lincoln Center today. His last feat in New York saw him sealed in an ice block in Times Square for 62 hours and in 2003 the illusionist spent 44 days starving himself in a glass box. Blaine, 33, will use specially created 'life-lines' which will provide him with nutrition and air to stay alive. After the week is up, Blaine will remove his air supply and attempt to break the world record for holding his breath - currently set at eight minutes 58 seconds.
