Johnny Depp To Retire At 50
Johnny Depp says he will retire from acting at 50.The 43-year-old 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star believes his sex appeal will not last for much longer and he worries his looks will fade once he hits 50.
He is quoted by entertainmentwise.com as saying: "I won't last in film much after I turn 50. People go on about how well I look for my age, but what happens when it all drops? I could end up as the Cliff Richard of film."
While Depp may fear his sex symbol status is fading, his recent performance as Captain Jack Sparrow in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' have proved he is still a hit with the ladies - after adoring female fans from all over the world flocked to see him at the premieres for the latest pirate adventure movie.
Meanwhile, the actor may be moving to Britain after buying a £500,000 house in Bath.
Johnny and his french partner Vanessa Paradis were also reportedly seen looking around local schools.
The couple have lived in the singer's homeland France since the birth of their daughter Lily-Rose seven years ago, but now they appear keen to move to England.
The pair - who also have a four-year-old son Jack - fell in love with the historic UK city while Johnny was filming 'Chocolat' in 2000.

Depp, who has two children with longterm partner Vanessa Paradis, has also revealed a "miracle" stopped him from taking drugs.
The star, who admits to taking various narcotics and alcohol in his wilder days, admitted to Britain's Loaded magazine:
"When I was young, I tried every kind of drug. But I managed to quit by a miracle.
"When I started I was still a kid, so I tried marijuana first, then alcohol, then I escalated little by little. They helped me escape from reality."

Johnny Depp to Play Heroine Addict
Johnny Depp signs autographs outside his hotel in NY.He is set to star in the movie Shantaram based on the life of a heroine addict who has spent alomst 20 years in jail then escapes.
The movie , based on the autobiography of Gregory David Roberts, recounts the life of a drug addict (Depp) who has spent 19 years in prison for arms violations and drug convictions. He somehow manages to escape, and makes his way to Bombay.
