Lindsay Lohan For Scary Movie 5
Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen have joined the cast of 'Scary Movie 5'.
Lohan is set to make her first appearance in the spoof horror franchise while Charlie will return for the third time, despite his character Tom Logan being killed off in 'Scary Movie 4'.
Malcolm Lee will direct the movie from a script co-written by David Zucker who wrote and helmed the third and fourth films.
The movie is set to be a complete reboot of the franchise, which originally starred Anna Faris and has grossed over $800 million worldwide.
Ashley Tisdale has previously signed up for the film which will involve the dance world.
A synopsis of the script revealed: "The story in 'Scary Movie 5' involves the dance world, with a snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed French director of a dance company named Pierre putting on a huge production. Jody, a Caucasian late-20s mother of two and her late-20s African American friend Kendra are both vying for the lead in the production. Jody's extremely controlling former dancer mother is determined that Jody will have the brilliant career that eluded her. The highly skilled mid-30s Diva veteran dancer with the company, Heather Daltry, gets cut from the production and goes berserk."
'Scary Movie 5' is slated for an April 2013 release.

Liberty Ross Bans Rupert Sanders From Snow White Sequel
Rupert Sanders' wife has banned him from directing 'Snow White and the Huntsman 2'.
The 41-year-old filmmaker was lined up to return to the helm for the sequel but Liberty Ross has warned him to stay away if he wants to save their marriage following the revelation he cheated on her with the film's star Kristen Stewart.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Liberty let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can't direct the sequel to 'Snow White and the Huntsman'.
"They are trying to work things out after he was caught having an affair, and that is one of the sticking points. She just doesn't want him to ever work with Kristen again.
"Rupert is obviously disappointed because 'Snow White and the Huntsman' was his directorial debut, and he had hoped on building on that with a follow-up after some decent reviews.
"But he knows his actions were inexcusable, and he's going to have to bite the bullet and listen to his wife on this one."
The insider claimed studio Universal are prepared to find a new director as Rupert never signed an official contract and they are determined to keep their lead actress.
The source added: "When Rupert signed up for 'Snow White and the Huntsman', he didn't know he was going to get a chance to direct a sequel. His contract with Universal was only for one movie. It was a verbal agreement that he was to take the reins on the sequel, nothing was ever signed.
"Kristen, as the film's lead, will get preference over Rupert and Universal will just find another director."
Kristen and her (ex) boyfriend Robert Pattinson are both said to have moved out of their shared Los Angeles home following the actress' cheating confession.
But the estranged couple are now believed to be back in contact with one another.
However, friends say the British actor is not yet ready to forgive his 'Twilight Saga' co-star.
A source said: "'[They] have finally started talking to each other again but it doesn't seem like he is going to forgive her any time soon."
Jessica Biel As April In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Jessica Biel wants to play April O'Neil in the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' remake.
The 'Total Recall' actress admits she has always been a big fan of the original comic book series and if she was to star in the Jonathan Liebesman-directed project then she would want to play the flame-haired TV reporter.
She told Collider.com: "I dig the Ninja Turtles. I always liked the Ninja Turtles - didn't they already make that movie though?
"I dig April, she's cool. She wore a yellow suit and she was a redhead. That was a great show, I loved it as a kid so sure! Yeah!"
The movie has reportedly been put back until May 2014 and producer Michael Bay recently revealed the forthcoming film will feature a "complex back story".
He said: "Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story.
"Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world."
Should Jessica land the role, she will follow in the footsteps of Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played April in the 2007 computer-animated movie 'TMNT'.
Selena Gomez Is A Rock N Roll Chick
Selena Gomez will play a rock 'n' roll chick in a new movie.
The 20-year-old singer-and-actress is to star alongside Nat Wolff in indie movie 'Parental Guidance Suggested', which will see her portray Nina Pennington, the love interest of 16-year-old Ric Thibault (Nat) in a movie based on Ric Browde's 2000 novel 'While I'm Dead ... Feed the Dog'.
Tim Garrick has penned the script for the movie and will direct, with 'Secret Life of American Teenager' star Austin Stowell in line to play Nina's overbearing boyfriend.
Dylan McDermott and Cary Elwes are also set to star in the motion picture, which is due to be shot in Los Angeles.
Selena's latest film role sees her star alongside Vanessa Hudgens in 'Spring Breakers', and the brunette beauty recently revealed she is giving her music career a rest in order to concentrate on acting.
She said: "I'm just kind of halting music for a bit. [I've] been really focused on more acting.
"For me it's been fun to take risks and do things that are completely different. To be honest, maybe some of you guys might not be comfortable with it ... I'm still the same person. Things that challenge me really excite me."
Lindsay Lohan Made The Crew Strip Down
Lindsay Lohan refused to do a sex scene on a new film until the crew stripped to their underwear.
The troubled actress - who has previously posed nude for Playboy magazine - was filming a scene on 'The Canyons' that requires her to go topless, but she was so nervous she would not do it until the cameramen and other people on set took off their clothes with her.
After hesitating, the crew eventually agreed and filmed the rest of the scene in just their underwear, TMZ.com reports.
Lindsay has been through a difficult few years, entering rehab on a number of occasions and undergoing community service for a DUI case, but has been keen to get her life back on track in recent months.
She completed filming on TV movie 'Liz & Dick' - where she plays the late Dame Elizabeth Taylor - earlier this summer and now working on 'The Canyons'.
However, she has experienced a number of setbacks, including two car crashes this year.
In the most recent incident, her car tapped the back of a silver Mustang on Sunset Boulevard, but she and a male passenger did not stay long as they were concerned about paparazzi.

The 'Tomb Raider' actress has apparently been reading the novel dubbed as 'mommy porn' after being introduced to it while shooting her new film in the United Kingdom.
Workers on the set of 'Maleficent' persuaded Angelina to pick up E L James' book and since then she has become interested in a part in the forthcoming motion picture.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Angelina kept hearing about the book while she was in the UK. All the girls on set were talking about it and how it's being made into a film.
"Angelina went out and bought herself a copy, thinking she'd love a part in the hot topic on everyone's lips at the moment. She knows the film is bound to be a huge hit."
The fictional story tells the tale of virginal girl slowly consumed by the charms of a man named Christian Grey.
Angelina is famed for dressing in bondage-style clothing in the past and famously wore the blood of her ex, Billy Bob Thornton, in a vial around her neck.
The insider continued: "Ange is dead-set on a major part. She's up for the challenge."
Other stars in line for the role are Emma Watson, Katie Cassidy and Scarlett Johansson.
