Pamela Anderson Recording Her First Pop Single “High”

Pamela Anderson is planning to launch a pop career - the actress is busy recording her first single.

The former Baywatch star began her career as a fitness instructor before turning to glamor modeling and acting. She has also dabbled in reality TV and high fashion, as Vivienne Westwood's latest muse. She even recently launched her perfume called Malibu.

Now Anderson is trying her luck as a singer - she is set to launch an assault on the charts with her first track, High, about her love of clothes. (But not wine or coke)



Anderson's close friend, designer Richie Rich, tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "We are recording a pop single together. Pam says she wants to sing, but nothing too difficult, so she's just going to sing the word 'high' over and over."

The actress is also teaming up with Rich to launch her own fashion line, A*Muse, which will be unveiled in February 2010.
