The La Toya Reality Show 2013
La Toya Jackson is to star in a new reality TV show.
The 56-year-old singer-and-actress has signed a deal with the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) to appear in 'Life With La Toya'.
La Toya will be followed by cameras that will film every aspect of her day-to-day activities from her business dealings to her life with her famous family and she can't wait to get started.
In a statement, she said: "I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family. This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life."
OWN co-president Sheri Salata added: "We are delighted to work with La Toya to bring this new show to OWN viewers."
The series will be produced by World of Wonder with Ja-Tail Television Exec and will be produced by La Toya, Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Jeffre Phillips and Charles Cook.
It is scheduled to premiere in 2013.
The wider Jackson family has endured a tumultuous time in recent weeks.
La Toya's siblings Janet, Rebbie and Randy have filed a letter criticizing the Michael Jackson Estate accusing the executors of failing at their job - although since the document was filed Jermaine and Tito have withdrawn their signatures - since the music icon died in June 2009.
Katherine Jackson, 82, lost custody of Michael's three kids, Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14, and 10-year-old 'Blanket' after she went to Arizona for several days to recover from an illness.
She is due in court todayto file a plea for co-guardianship of the children with her nephew Tito Joe 'TJ' Jackson - who was given temporary control of them in Katherine's absence.

La Toya Jackson Is Milkshake Mama
La Toya Jackson spent Halloween behind the counter at a West Hollywood milkshake store to serve customers her own shake containing strawberries, raspberries, and caramel, topped with cream and a chocolate flake. The special shake was launched in September and ended Saturday in order to raise money for the AIDS Project Los Angeles. Before the big day Jackson said: "I can’t wait to get behind the counter and serve the community - and I can’t wait to taste the La Toya Shake again. It is very generous for Millions of Milkshakes to support our goal by donating proceeds from the store to such a great cause, I am very thankful to them!"

LaToya Jackson Has Rockin’ Style
LaToya Jackson leaves a boutique in Beverly Hills on Friday (Oct 23) where she walks past photographers and jumps into a waiting car. One can't help but notice the similarities between MJ and his sister LaToya. RIP Michael... we haven't forgotten. Apparently according to LaToya herself she communicates with her dead brother Michael! She tells The Mirror (Thanks MK):
“When I go to his house I say, ‘Hello, Michael. How are you? If you’re here, please, please let me know’. And the lights start blinking. I can feel him.
“I can smell his Tom Ford cologne and I’ve felt him brush past me. It’s the most wonderful feeling and the biggest smile comes over my face.
“I tell him I love him so much and ask him to show me he’s here again. The lights blink again.
“I know he’s there, answering me and knowing he’s watching me is a huge comfort. I never believed that people could speak, hear and communicate in that sense. But I’ve witnessed it several times now and I want to investigate it further. I am certainly open-minded to speaking to a medium.
“No other members of the family have experienced it. Just me.”
This completely makes sense. I sometimes smell a wiff of my Dad's cigar in his truck and he has been gone a few years.....Also, Michael Jackson was like a Walt Disney. His music and life influenced millions+. Jackson must be in a higher dimension to be able to communicate with LaToya in this fashion. Also she's open-minded to it. That's the biggie.
