Taylor Swift Was Too Freaky For Conor

Taylor Swift "freaked Conor Kennedy out" by coming on too strong.

The 22-year-old singer- who has dated a host of Hollywood hunks in the past including Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal - and the 18-year-old schoolboy started dating during the summer but Conor is said to have called things off because Taylor got too serious, too fast.

A source told Radar Online: "Conor's just an 18-year-old kid and wasn't ready for anything super serious. But Taylor is looking for her soulmate and it kind of freaked him out with how strong she came on."

Soon after she started dating Conor - the son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy - Taylor bought a $4.9 million, 13-room property in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, across the street from his grandmother Ethel Kennedy.

A realtor confirmed the purchase of the house - which was originally "way overpriced" and listed for $14 million - saying: "It's in a beautiful location and right across the street from Conor and the Kennedys.

"It's a beautiful home. She got a nice home, paid fair price. The house was on the market for two to four years."

Taylor's purchase came just days after she introduced Conor to her parents in Nashville, Tennessee.

While they were there, the pair also enjoyed a date at a diner and onlookers said they couldn't keep their hands off each other.

Taylor Swift’s video is love letter to Paris

Taylor Swift's new music video is a "love letter to Paris".

The 22-year-old singer premiered her new clip for 'Begin Again' yesterday and made it as a tribute to the French capital as she thinks it is a place which can help cure a broken heart.

Taylor - who shot the video in Paris - told MTV News: "I think we've all had that day where we just decide to wander around and think about things.

"It's gonna be, like, a love letter to Paris because it's just the city and this story line of somebody moving on and finding yourself again."

The 'singer - whose own turbulent love life has been well documented on her tracks - loves making videos and is enlisting her fans to help come up with ideas for future releases.

She added: "I'm so excited for the videos I wanna shoot for this album. I just can't wait until the fans decide which of the singles get videos and what's gonna happen, and it's all up in the air at the moment, but I feel it falling into place."

Taylor Swift Torments Her Ex’s In This Way

Taylor Swift thinks it's "fun" to torment ex-boyfriends on her songs.

Speaking about 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', Taylor - who has previously dated Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and John Mayer - said: "I made a song that I knew would absolutely drive him crazy when he heard it on the radio. Not only would it hopefully be played a lot, so that he'd have to hear it, but it's the opposite of the kind of music that he was trying to make me feel inferior to. I did that because that's fun."

While her bad relationships have given her lots of hit records, Taylor - who is now dating Conor Kennedy - wishes she never had the inspiration and her romances had worked out.

She told USA Today newspaper: "I can say I'd honestly rather be happy than have 30 to 40 songs that I've written about these thrilling, exciting, horrible, unhappy times. I know red flags, and I steer away from them, because I have a priority on being happy.

"At some point, you grow out of being attracted to that flame that burns you over and over and over again. Thankfully, I hadn't learned that lesson yet when I wrote this record."

Man Muncher

Taylor Swift became "friends and pals" with Ed Sheeran as soon as they started working together.

The singers teamed up to write duet 'Everything Has Changed' for Swift's forthcoming new album 'Red' in her back garden, and the 22-year-old singer admits the pair had a great working relationship.

She said: "Both of us are really open, so if he doesn't like a phrasing he'll tell me and if I don't like a chord, I'll tell him.

"It's really cool to have an honest channel where he'll be like, 'No', And I'll be like, 'Yep' and he'll be like, 'No', and I'll go, 'OK I'll change it'.

"He is such an amazing writer and an amazing singer. I don't know, it's just amazing to have his voice on my record."

Taylor and Ed's close friendship led to them pouring out their feelings for 'Everything Has Changed', which is about how a person's views on the world change when a special someone comes into their life.

She explained: "We were just talking about the feeling of when you first meet someone and all of a sudden the way that the world looks to you changes.

"Like everything looks different to you because of this one person, because one new person came into your life. It's really cool."

Taylor admits both she and Ed were desperate to work with each other and just happened to ask their management to arrange a collaboration at exactly the same time.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1, she added: "I had management reach out and at the same time he was having his management reach out to me because we both wanted to work together at the same time."

Taylor Swift avoids internet gossip

Taylor Swift doesn't read about herself on the internet.

The country star avoids all stories about her and if she sees something about her life or music on the web she clicks off the site.

She said: "I try not to read anything about myself. My friends make fun of me because if I see my name somewhere, I just click off of it. If you read too many things about yourself that are just a little bit incorrect, you start obsessing over what people think about you. I really have no idea what the general perception is about me right now."

Taylor - who is getting ready to release her new album 'Red' October 22 - also revealed she likes to bake when she is enjoying time away from work.

The 'Love Story' singer finds it very therapeutic to be in the kitchen because she can forget about her career while she is cooking.

She explained: "There's something really calming about having everything measured out, and stirring, and preheating the oven. Fall is about to happen, and it's about to be baking overdrive. There's going to be pumpkin bread that I'll be making a lot of and giving to people."

The 22-year-old musician announced the details of her new album on Monday in a web chat with fans.
