LeAnn Rimes Needs A Break From Wearing Bikinis
LeAnn Rimes has checked into rehab.
The 'Can't Fight the Moonlight' singer entered into a 30-day in-patient facility to deal with "anxiety and stress" on Wednesday, the day after her 30th birthday, and she hopes she is better able to deal with her problems on her return.
She said: "This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be.
"All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them."
Her representative Marcel Pariseau added privacy was not "expected" but would be "appreciated".
He told People.com: "LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress.
"While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."
However, she will be allowed to exit the facility to keep to her tour commitments on weekends.
Marcel added: "The facility has granted her permission to keep her weekend tour obligations as LeAnn doesn't want to disappoint her fans. She will report back after each weekend."

LeAnn Rimes Face Is Numb
LeAnn Rimes had to undergo dental surgery after suffering from tooth ache.
The 29-year-old singer had to visit an endodontist - who specialize in treating problems with the root of the tooth - after suffering from serious discomfort in her mouth, but has thanked her fans for praying for her while she underwent the scary procedure yesterday.
She wrote on twitter: "Out of surgery!!!! All is well. My whole face is numb and I'm starving....bad combo. Thx for all your prayers. (sic)"
However, her teeth traumas are not yet over as she still needs another surgical procedure.
She added: "Now I heal...til next Monday....more surgery, minor though.
(sic)"LeAnn had been particularly nervous in the run-up to the surgery, but was glad she would be in good hands.
She added: "Going into an 8 hr surgery tmrw.....beyond anxious. Thank goodness for a rocking Anesthesiologist
(sic)"It is the second time LeAnn has undergone an operation on her mouth this year; in February she felt her "whole head pound" after having minor surgery.
She wrote on twitter at the time: ""K, coming clean ... I had minor surgery this week and I've been in SO much pain it's not even funny.
"Nothing major just annoying! Pain pain go away!!!!!! When it's mouth pain and jaw pain it makes your whole head pound! YUCK. (sic)"
